The French company Atlinks (est. 2000) was a by-product of the merger of two industry titans – Alcatel and Thomson. Operating as a subsidiary of Thomson since 2003, it is a prime mover in the development and design of telephony technology and provides products and services for over 20 telecom operator clients around the world. Among the company’s products are dedicated professional terminals for payphones, customizable sets, large-key telephones, sets compatible with hearing aids, and other telecommunication devices.
Atlinks is considered as a global leader in home and office telephony solutions with heavy involvement in DECT, analog, 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz formats which translate to sales in excess of 28 million units and a turnover of 600 millions Euros in 2003. The company designs, manufactures and markets telephony products such as General Electric, Alcatel, RCA and Thomson for worldwide consumption.
In a short span of time, Atlinks has grown to be one of the leading organizations when it comes to creating solutions for voice, data and image communication.
