Who needs Digital?

These older analgue speakerphones are genericaly a good thing. They just - work - and without being burdened by loads of features that no one realy needs, they are very easy to use. Just press a button, dial the number and go. Particularly liked the LED indicators that inform of status (on hold, mute, call in progress, call dialing) and the sound quality is just great in our average sized conference room. The only slighlty down point and why I did not give 5 stars, is that it does pick up table clunks very well. For example I dropped the stylus from my P800 phone on the desk - itself barely audible where I was - which was picked up by the Polycom and transmitted as quite a loud clunk. Go for it - its a good price and very effective!

The Phone we were going to order from our usual supplier was going to caost £380.00! Did a quick google search and found Ligo's Website. So we saved £200.00 on the phone. Many of the people in our office like simpler electronic stuff, that just do the job they are expected to without all the add on's (like LCD screens). This product does just that - Its a phone with mics. Good conference mics are expensive, but this phone is good value, has impressive clarity at high volume and is so easy to use - Type in the number and away you go. If our second conference phone bites the dust I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with another Polycom VoiceStation 300 Analogue Conference Phone. Finally Ligo were very efficient and quick to deliver.

Great little phone, does the job! The clarity of the speech from the speakers is very good and can be easily adjusted. Controls on the phone are simple to follow. The only minor downside is that when using the phone in a room it can appear to sound a bit muffled to the person on the other end of the line. All in all, a good buy for the price.

This is a great phone. The set up only took a couple of minutes and is simple to use. The call quality is good, I can clearly hear other call participants, although I have had comments that I sound a bit distant despite the phone being very close. Turning the volume up to max seems to help. This is reason why I didnt give it 5 stars...but for the price, this is a very good buy. |
