Why would anyone want to miss the holiday season by 2 weeks when launching such a product?
This makes a perfect xmas gift but it is out a few days too late. Siemens make the best phones but desperately need a marketing team.

You’re right there. Its really a great looking and functioning phone. Looks and feels like the Blackberry bold. Such a shame it wont be out till January 09 at the earliest.

I would absolutely love to buy one. I live in London Ontario Canada. Is there any place close where I can buy one?

There is a comment on here that the phone is a VoIP phone. Can anyone confirm if that is true? Is it a VoIP phone as standard or does it require any accessories to enable the VoIP?

Given it’s now nearly a year on since this was launched, I wonder how long it will be before the SL8xx comes onto the market?
