Gigaset replaces lithium-ion batteries in the SL910 series
Product warning: The cell may overheat in rare cases
December 15, 2011 – Gigaset Communications GmbH is replacing the lithium-ion batteries in the handsets of its SL910 series (the Gigaset SL910, Gigaset SL910A and Gigaset SL910H) because the storage cells may overheat in very rare cases. As a manufacturer of quality products, Gigaset is taking this precautionary measure to rule out any safety risks due to the batteries, which all come from one supplier. Affected consumers are strongly urged to stop using the batteries in question right away and replace them with new ones.

Once the batteries are installed and the shiny black back is clipped on you realise that all that chrome and shiny black is going to show up all the fingerprints. Belt clips are supplied as an option if you want to use them and do not really detract from the overall design of the phone.
