About BT BT or British Telecommunications is the publicly listed holding company for an integrated group of companies that provide local, national and international telecommunications services, broadband and Internet products and services, and IT solutions to the UK market and 30 other countries worldwide. The company operates under three core divisions: BT Retail, BT Wholesale and BT Global Services. The Retail business supplies exchange lines and the leasing of private circuits and other private services.
