Philips Zenia 300 Speakerphone Answering

If you have a lot of people wandering off with handsets, then it is incredibly useful to have a base that you can make and answer calls with, and I have found this model to be very good; this purchase is a replacement for the earlier one I had that wore out from normal use.

The disadvantages are : not possible to adjust answer message, date or time from the base unit. For me this was far outweighed by the above.

Works very well, easy to use and reliable. This was a replacement for a 5 year old part that suffered a lightnening strike. As we liked the product so much we decided to get the same one again instead of a new system. Delivery was prompt and tracking of the delivery simple. No issues.

This was a replacement for a speakerphone which after a few years has now gone faulty.
Not an exact replacement but fits in perfectly.The unit supplied is in first class condition is now up and running. Could not be better.

This looked like an ideal answering machine, but I was puzzled that the descriptions were inconsistent. For example some (like LiGo) said it had a predefined message, others said you could put in 5 messages. I assumed there must have been an upgrade. Wrong! It is a good little machine, with a nice bright flashing display to catch your attention when you come in, and you can use it as a phone as well as an answering machine. BUT be aware that you can't program it without the handset. Everything is at the default settings, so you don't get the long list of clever features in the full specification. That's why the message is fixed, and for example the number of rings is fixed, you can't set the date and time, and you can't register it as a GAP compatible phone.

I purchased this answer machine as I already had the same model before and was pleased with it, but with the high usage we gave it, it was time to replace it. The delivery was as it stated- promt within a week of ordering. Good service.
