DORO 312C Special Needs Telephone review

Sadly with advancing years, aged relatives find it more difficult to see clearly and to manage devices with small buttons The DORO 312C is a big help with its large buttons and backlit display. Build quality is excellent, installation just a case of unwrapping and plugging in a few plugs and wires. Sound quality is good. Be advised that you need a mains power outlet fairly close to the phone socket you are going to use

I have two N.H. Digital hearing aids and I expected to hear better on the third (loop) setting but it was exactly the same as microphone settings - quite accceptably good but no better. a little dissapointing but ok.

My beloved Aunt Lily already had difficulty making calls through our Siemens AT200 Analogue phone because of the rather smallish buttons and hard-to-see labels. I scouted for another phone with bigger buttons and labels and spotted this unit here at Ligo. I think this had the biggest buttons (extra-large) among the special needs phone at Ligo’s catalog so I decided to purchase this particular model. I’m glad I did ‘cause Auntie loves it. She says the easy-to-read backlit display works perfectly for her. Thanks for solving our problem. Oh and we absolutely loved the price too! This one gets 5 stars!

Cheap and cheerful - the lcd graphic display is unreadable because where it is positioned in my house the sun reflects on to it - apart from that it does what I need - loud and big numbers to view easily - very plasticky and cheap to the touch but good in the sense that the volume control is loud - im not sure if it has caller display as I cant read the lcd?! But overall worth the money.
