Amplified phone

Purchased this phone for my 87 year old mother who is quite hard of hearing particularly while on the telephone. It has been very successful for her with the amplification turned on permanently.

I found your service to be very good. But I have some reservation about the phone. The ringing sound could be a lot better for the hard of hearing, I have had to add an amplifier bell as I found I couldn't hear the ringing when out of the room even on high setting. I find the incoming tone and amplifier to be Ok.

Good points
I have tried numerous phones as I am 88 and hard of hearing. This by far out shines any I have tried recently, although i get the occasional whistle that is soon adjusted.
Bad points Occasional whistle Other thoughts Great for the hard of hearing and also for the poor sighted

This phone was needed for my elderly Mother who is hard of hearing but also required an easy dial pad. The amplification is superb, although you can hear yourself to some degree in the earpiece which takes some getting used to. The listening volume and pitch can be easily adjusted. The 9 large dialling pads can have photos slipped inside for

Purchased for my elderly parents partially sighted and deaf - this enables them to press one button to call a member of the family, doctor etc. large buttons for entering other numbers, volume and tone control and amplify boost. A Good Buy.
