This is the second time we have used Ligo & are more than happy with them. They send emails & keep in touch right from the ordering date till the product is delivered.

Good points Rugged; very good sound; good clear user interface; decent address book; works with a S790/5 system.

Bad points Fundamentally the same software as the S79 means some common fault: overlapping text in call logs list entries (e.g. "[3]", for 3 calls, overlapping "pm" of the calls' time).

I bought this individual E49 handset to be the "rugged" one to take to the garden etc. in a S795 system with 5 handsets. I was prepared to accept a "lesser" quality for the ruggedness, but in fact this is actually better than I expected! Sure, the address book feels more primitive compared to the S79, and the user interface is less "hi-tech", but that's an unfair comparison. The sound quality is still very good, and the handset looks like it can take a lot of (accidental) abuse - which was the idea after all. The menus and controls are now familiar (it didn't take long, as they are intuitive), and the sound is very good - oh, I said that already, didn't I?

Good points This phone has a waterproof protective cover and the key board is sealed so there is no ingress.

Bad points The only critisim is that its a little pricey but saying that they do last.

Good points Rugged piece of kit just what is required at work

Bad points smallish screen

Good points Does everything required and reasonably priced for a quality product

Bad points Not crucial, but takes quite a long time to fully charge from empty.

Bought this to supplement the trio I already have. They are all round tough, simple to use and reliable.

Good points Early days yet but so far is a good quality phone.
