Siemens Gigaset C46 Additional Handset

We have the C460 base station and have been using it for the past 3 months. It has very good sound quality for VoIP calls, and although the sound quality of calls over landline weren’t as good, we wanted to get an additional handset so we can try conference calling over VoIP. Installing the additional handset was relatively easy after reading the manual a couple of times, and luckily we didn’t have to configure anything for the VoIP provider (I don’t know if that would be the case for others, though). The conferencing over VoIP works well and met our expectations. Lastly, we were pleased to see that like with our previous purchase, Ligo had great service and prompt delivery.

I frequently use VoIP in my home office and have been using my original C460 for a few months. I’ve been quite satisfied with its performance so when I decided to get another handset it was clear that I would get another siemens.
It turned out to be a smart choice to get an additional handset of the same model. Although the base station is compatible with other gigaset models, you have to get the same model if you want to be able to make an internet call and a local call. That was what I needed in my office so I had to buy this. It’s a good thing LiGo’s priced this lower.
Registering the new handset with the base station was easy. This is a good product overall.
