After the customary initial charge time, set up took just seconds. The 'Hands Free' option on the Telephone handset is just brilliant. You can truely have a group of people around a table and everyone can hear/speak to the caller. The range / reception is excellent.

The Plantronics Headset is a very comfortable and good performer - it does lack the range of the handset but thats to be expected.

The combination is an excellent match - being a very heavy phone user (I need to move around the office while on the phone quite often) this duo suits me perfectly. Highly reccomended!

The headset performs very well working as it is designed - to hear a caller. The only issue relates to making calls through voicemail systems. Dialling from the handset prevents use of the headset. Transfer to the headset prevents use of the handset. For example, presented with

Working from home I got tired of holding the house phone to my ear for hours so I bought this unit mainly for the headset. It didn't disappoint - it works very well and the headset was very easy to configure and use. Listeners have said the quality is excellent at their end - no hiss or noise. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is that the normal cordless handset has a bit of a clunky menu system - but that's the only gripe I have found.
