Great Phones Richard Dickins 5/5

Really amazing phones these. the closest thing I've found so far to the functionality of a Mobile in a landline-phone.
Plus points:
+ long battery life - they really do last 15 days if you don't use them much, or 7 days with the display backlight on all the time.
+ low power - the charger draws about 1 watt when idle
+ Great call quality and clarity
+ Bluetooth for headset - no longer am I getting my headset wires caught on things!
+ Sync to PC software, although this is a little quirky
+ Appointments - can be useful
+ Ability to transfer contacts from one handset to another is great

Minus points: Not many and possibly not important:
- Poor set of ringtones, although you can upload your own via bluetooth or a cable, but that's no excuse for having a good range in the phone itself
- Bluetooth headset takes up to 5 seconds to latch onto a call. 5 seconds is an age when you are waiting for it
- Key-click is too loud, I might have to turn it off. I'd like more control over that.
- I could not get the phone to accept a VCard from My Nokia N73 over Bluetooth

Overall though, I really like these phones, nice and small, great features, and although they are expensive, the features, design and quality are worth it.

Highly recommended.

Ecellent phone system Robert Griffiths 5/5

The Siemens Gigaset SL375 Bluetooth system is excellent, The bluetooth works great and the sound quality is amazing. It has some cool features too, the Answer machine and missed call information is clear and concise, it's even named and dated on screen so you know who left the message and when.

There are so many more features to discover, I'm reading thought the manual and learning new features all the time. One thing I can't find is a call history of incoming calls, might just be me but I can only find a list of missed calls so far.

Brilliant phone though, I would recomend it to anyone. each phone comes with it's own base station, so you can set up multiple incoming lines or have all the phones talking to one base station. Its easy to store numbers too, just like a mobile, and with 250 entries you wont run out of space for names.

You can simply send them to each phone on your base station once added to one handset. I bought 4, love the system, it rocks.

Great Phones! Corbow 5/5

I bought the Gigaset after having several other types of phone. Owing to hearing problems I need a very clear phone - these are great! Lots of useful features especially the bluetooth function. the display is not as sharp as my moblie, but its adeqate. The user who complained about a redundant base is wrong - you can have each phone assigned to a base, so you can have them far apart in order to get very good reception at greater distances - just great! Superb clarity and reception. A great set up, I highly recommend these little gems.

A joy to use Anonymous 4/5

The Siemans Gigaset SL375 is a joy to use and to look at. I've been mean with the star allocation because It's slightly fiddly to remove from the charger with one hand - I'm perhaps too protective of the pins on which it sits. It also took sometime to transfer all my numbers one by one to the first Directory - but transfer between handsets was effortless and quick. The sound quality is excellent, and the controls are clear and intuitive. Well worth the money.

Siemens SL375 Review Anonymous 5/5

I've had this great phone for about 2 weeks now and I love it. Not only does it look very stylish, its packed with features and every one works well including bluetooth. For a telephone that does so much, its remarkably simple to use and the manual is very clear and easy to follow. I've had one other landline 'phone (BT) which had the bluetooth feature and, although costing over £70 more than the Siemens, the quality was very poor (looking more like a child's plastic toy mobile!) and the 'phone had to be returned after 6 days as the buttons kept sticking and the menus couldn't be accessed.
I would recommend the Siemens Gigaset to anyone who is looking for a top of the range, feature packed 'phone but who also wants a bit of style.

Stylish, easy to set up and use Mr. maninder virdee 4/5

This phone is very stylish and easy to set up. The handset docks are robust and look great. The handsets are small enough to place anywhere in the house. The only issue i have is that when ordering twin handsets or above, you are sent both the handset and base station, so now i have a redundant base station.

Best of the best! Anonymous 5/5

I can't emphasise enough, these phones look fantastic. Its almost hard to believe they are home phones. The quality is great as we expected from Siemens. Expensive phones but well worth it.
As a side note, I had read on the Siemens web site that the belt clip was optional, but it was included in the box as standard. Thanks liGo, fast service as promised.

Beautiful phones Anonymous 5/5 roll over for details

Good points The phone has feature I find particularly useful, an alarm:o) also bluetooth so it saves having to duplicate contacts as this is updated.

Bad points Wished I'd realised I would need a data transfer cable to download from my pc, but will get one

Little Gigaset Rob from Cambridge 5/5

These little phones are great and look really stylish. I had bought cheap phones before these and the reception was pretty bad. But with these reception is crystal clear. They also have some qwerky extra bits I like.

Top Performer Mr. Dan Etheridge 4/5

I bought this phone for my parents for Christmas and it's a great phone with many features. The only small draw back is that it's maybe a bit on the small side, otherwise great.

STAR PERFORMER Anonymous 5/5

I don't wish to sound like I need to get a life but this phone is outstanding. Stunning looks, great features (although a few which I think are unnecessary) and easy to use. I tend to find I become a helpline when new technology is introduced to the home, but everyone understood this phone. Even my wife, who would admit she is not an early adopter for technology and much of the time cant see the point of it, loves this phone and so do I.

Siemens Gigaset SL375 Twin - Execellent for home working! Anonymous 4.5/5 roll over for details

Good points I work from home and around 5-7 hours of my day is spent on the telephone, either conference calls or a team spead throughout the UK & Europe. I upgraded from my BT Calypso purely because it was after 4yrs proving to be tempremental and the charge didn't last the day. Now with the Seimens product a fully charged handset can last for 2-3 days without being recharged! :O) The dual handset version is superb as it enables me to completley discharge a handset before placing it for rechagre and using the 2nd one ( a good idea to prolong battery life with any rechargeable device). Although I've not paired it as yet with a Bluetooth headset I am sure it will work when the time comes. Also unlike my calypso the backlight dies down after a predetermined time (esp good if you keep a handset in the bedroom. I also like the clock function that displays when charging and the easy by which you can transfer memory en-masse to the other handset.

Bad points Not easy to find the secrecy/mute function when I need to (when on a conference call when the door bell rings and my (5) dogs go beserk.

Other thoughts

An absolute must for homeworkers and looks beautiful in a home environment

Brilliant cordless phone in a mobile phone package. Anonymous 4/5 roll over for details

Good points As I wanted a small cordless phone which has a good phone directory size, this phone matches my requirements perfectly. Far superior to the BT 'mickey mouse' phones.

Bad points None found yet.

PRODUCT RATING - SIEMENS GIGASET SL375 Anonymous 4.5/5 roll over for details

Good points easy to set up and use. Very compact and occupies very little space. It is not only a true status symbol but better than the one I used to have before. Well done. Oh! I forgot about the bluetooth.

Bad points The only bad point is it hasn't got any bad points.

Other thoughts

My wife loves it more than me .Please produce something that will not be in competition with my love life.

Seimens SL375 Anonymous 5/5 roll over for details

Good points Looks amazing and the features meet all my expectations

Bad points Seems a little light, may not survive if it ends up in the hands of my 1 year old!

Other thoughts

You need to input the numbers individually per phone, would be nice to have a transfer feature. But I have not seen one yet for landline phones.

The Siemens Sl375 is a high end phone which allows transfer of all your contacts from one handset to another. Please refer to your manual or give us a call and we can advise you how to do it. Most Siemens Phones and some Panasonic are offering this feature as well.
