I have had several answerphones of other makes, but can honestly say that the KX-TG8120 is light years ahead of any of them. I have been delighted by its user friendly controls and the superb specification with the wide range of facilities. I have never liked the very poor 'compressed' speech quality of the outgoing message on phones like the BT range and was delighted to find that this Panasonic permits recording in one's 'natural' voice, exactly the same as its normal high quality handling of voices in conversation.
