BT Diverse 5350 review

Excellent service from placing the order to a very prompt receipt and keen price. I found the BT Diverse 5350 visually to be very neat and compact for a piece of equipment with many functions. I know nothing about setting up the phone as I find any instructions whether they be for a dvd player, PC or anything else only fully understandable by the person who wrote the document, however, my daughter was able to programme in all the numbers and set the phone up etc, she said it was easy. I find the BT Diverse 5350 does all I want it to do.

bought this to replace a phone fax as my new printer for my home office incorporated a fax machine so first useful attribute is the space saving. However its small size means that the speaker function (created presumably to help one handed use) is a bit difficult as it moves around too much. Furthermore the phone sits too loosely in the base unit so one handed dialing is not possible - thats irritating. Maybe by next upgrade the hand unit will fit firmly into the base unit and the base unit can have some better anchorage.
Apart from that the fact I can use the phone anywhere around my home without any apparent loss of signal is good.

Cordless phones have come a long way over the past fifteen years. This latest model is a wonderful piece of equipment which does all that is expected of it and lives up to the high rating given it by Which magazine. My only criticism is, not with the product itself, but of the user guide. The young are so used to mobile phones etc that they are abreast of all this gadgetry, but for the elderly a much more detailed explanation is required to fathom all the intricacies of inserting the directory etc. The diagrams of the various functions are not detailed enough and it takes a lot of trial and error to work out all the different fine movements required to make even partial use of all its attributes. That said - an excellent product.

Superb phone with good clear reception, excellent handsfree and reasonable battery life. Works well and no complaints. Also good service from Ligo with fast delivery.

Fantastic reception, easy to use. I am with NTL so can't use the BT extra features ie. caller id, call waiting, different ringtones for VIP etc. Nevertheless i am sure i will cope. A little on the expensive side but it is worth it for the fantatic reception.

I replaced my old 2015 BT Diverse answer machine with the cordless BT Diverse 5350. I was delighted that it was compatible and improved the display on my mixed bag of older BT Diverse handsets (4000series). Clarity is excellent, ease of use is excellent, looks as good as they get and functionality superb. One happy customer.
