I would recommend this phone to other potential buyers. My previous phone was a DBTEL colour which was disappointing. This phone on the other hand exceeds it by far. The colour LCD stays displayed when talking to someone so if you have call waiting you can still see who is calling you. The LCD display on some other colour phones goes blank after a while so it is difficult to know who is calling. I like the fact that both the base and handset ring simultaneously not just the handset when it is sat in the base. I found this phone easy to set up and set the answer machine and it is easy to operate the many features that this phone has. It comes with a belt clip so can easily be attached to your belt while out in the garden.

Easy to use, lots of features (I will never use most) and has the feel of quality. I can never get excited by a cordless phone but I'm very pleased with this one.

This phone has obviously been designed by people who are really interested in their work. If you are too, and want a phone that does what it's supposed to, and some other things you never thought possible, then you will not be disappointed.
Excellent features and build quality. Only better option: buying two instead of one, then you can enjoy the internal paging and call-forwarding/sharing features. In short: the bee's knees. And Ligo aren't all that bad either:-) Regards F

This is my fourth Siemens DECT set (the other three being BT Diverse models). It has a good, intuitive user interface, good sound and good feel. The handsfree feature is great and the colour screen is nice; alarm and appointments (and even the answering machine) I don't think I will ever use.
I still miss illuminated keys and find the key response to be very slow. The other problem is that you cannot move your phone-book if you change phone, nor is there a way to synchronise phone-books between phones linked to the same base. I will look for *all* of these features in my next phone. Overall, the price was right for this phone, which does well all the main things a phone should do. Regards Kostas

This phone not only looks stylish, but performs very well. Both handset & base have high volume setting levels, making it ideal for those that need it.
The only detraction from a 5 star rating would be a slightly dated display. Regards harmx

Good sound quality. Neat and compact. Reasonably simple to use. An abundance of features (some of which are beyond my immediate needs, but may become useful in the future). All in all, good value for money.

Great handset - heavy and substantial like an old-fashioned phone you can stick on your shoulder, not like a light-weight mobile phone! Nice looking too - unlike everything else out there.

After the massive disappointment of a BT SYNERGY cordless phone (returned after 1 week), it is great to have a phone that does what you want it to do; excellent clarity for calls, even using the hands free function; a talk time that DOES last as long as it states (BT take note!), great phone book, smart, light-weight design, etc etc.
All in all, an impressive phone. The service from LIGO was second to none; helpful advice and delivered the next day! (plus that great price!) My only niggle is that the keys on the phone are a little fiddly and sometimes unresponsive, and it is only this that stops me giving it a 5/5. Do yourselves a favour; if you are disappointed with your current DECT phone, forget the ***** (edited) catalogue and order one of these! Regards Mr. Carl Swann

this phone is very good easy to use good clear sounds, sms sevice on your home line sending and receiving, but if you have a little extra to spend i recomend the SIEMENS GIGASET S645 WITH M34 USB VOIP as you can skype as well.
