Good points
look and feel
easy to set up and use ability to upload pictures of your contacts and see who is calling from far away good speakerphone can be used as baby monitor Bad points expensive the screen needs to be wiped sometimes Other thoughts I was hesitating to buy this phone, as it is quite expensive, but after using it for a few weeks now I am sure I made the right decision. It looks great in our living room and it's fun to use. Tony e15

Great phones. Love that you only have to put your contacts in once and it will save to all three handsets. Lovely looking phones and easy to use. More expensive than most other cordless phones but so much sleeker and more modern looking. Has a slide screen like the iphone which is great. The black square thing behine the phone is the base that connects to the BT phone line. You only need one of these regardless of how many handsets you have, and it doesn't need to be anywhere on show or accessible. Fab phones Westallotment

Good features but I want VOIP as well. I expect a DECT/VOIP version will also become available in due course. I will upgrade my existing Gigaset setup then. SIPman

Good sound, plenty of function, mimics mobile very well.
Bad points Documentation and how phone was set up confusing but once i reset to factory settings it became easier. Special sheet of instructions stated that answering machine default message was in German, not so once handset changed to English so was the default message. Other thoughts For first time users of touch screen phones beware of touching screen when answering phone else who knows what might happen.

Just plug in to a computer and drop all your contacts in, no more messing about manually typing telephone numbers in. Looks fantastic. Sound quality is really good. Much improved on my ten year old panasonics...

Looks fantastic
Touch screen like a smart phone Feels comfortable in use Fits smoothly in charger Bad points Needs a lot of time reading manual to get full use of features. Some features not easily understood so checked forums. Other thoughts I really love this phone now I've understood how to set it up. Easy to transfer my contacts from older Gigaset phones. I'm using it with two older Gigaset phones but will buy an additional SL910 phone and sell the old ones, the new one is so much better!

Having challanges with using GigaSync on Win7 Pro for transferring contacts.
Other thoughts Overall it is a excellent purchase.

Nice design, responsive touch screen and perfect voice quality. Also fully compatible with my older SL78H handsets.
Bad points No sms YET! Other thoughts I contacted gigaset, after hunting through the manual to find why SMS was missing. I'm told they will release a firmware update very soon (2011) to enable SMS.

Bad points memory for uploading photos a bit small - had to make them smaller sized then upload so it didnt run out of memory

This phone is well made it is easy to set up and use, operates just like an I-phone, and unlike some phones the caller ID photo is nice and large and easy to see who is calling
Bad points None so far Other thoughts The only bad experience was with the courier service, They took 9 days to deliver. The phone arrived in the Service Centre on the 6th and was not delivered till the 15th and I only live 12 Mile from the Service Centret. although there was a sticker on the parcel saying 24hr Next day delivery.

Great modern slim design, many features coupled with continuous support and updates.
Bad points It is initially expensive but when you realise all its features it is reasonable value for money. Other thoughts Best on the market

This was a gift and i understand there was a considerable delay in delivery time but it was definately worth the wait. This is a quality product with many useful features which i am still exploring. I have no doubt this is a major step forward in the home phone handset market and look forward to many years of quality service

brilliant all round phone for the technology
Bad points expensive phone should be a lot cheaper Other thoughts my previous gigaset phone links to the base unit so no need to have redundant phone lying around gathering dust

Very solid in the hand. Simple to understand menu features and set up. Sound quality is excellant.
Bad points Just a bit sensative to the touch Other thoughts A Skype function would be great in such a sophisticated device

Good looking,great build quality, very robust,user friendly -mimics mobile. Separate transmitter means can be placed anywhere in house. Very good price
Bad points Poor instruction manual and web site fragile. Other thoughts This phone is just not quite as good as you think it will be, but still is a good quality phone and I have no regrets in purchasing.

Terrific bit of kit which I use for work. Is virtually the same as having a mobile. Makes BT telephones look and feel positively archaic.
Bad points Errrrrr..................can't think of anything really, is very well thought out. Actually, the sound could be a little louder, something for the firmware upgrade maybe. Other thoughts None

Bad points screensavers, but only because i don't like fish (ha ha) Other thoughts experienced some delay on processing of order but worth the wait, very pleased
