Gave this as a 80th birthday present to my still active grandmother. She loved it! Although I set it up for her, she quickly learned how to operate it on her own. The display with the extra-large type and keys are her favourites. Although she’s a bit techno-phobic, she’s also learned to program numbers into it. I’m not so sure if there’s any truth to the self-adjusting illuminated display, but gran says it’s easy on the eyes and is never too bright. I find the handset a bit hefty, but since it’s for the sake of bigger keys, it’s forgivable. The only part she dislikes is its colour. Gran’s really fastidious, and she thinks that the silver finish attracts more dirt stains, and at her age she’d prefer something that she could clean less often and requires less attention. All things considered, it’s a well thought-out product aimed towards older people, definitely worth the price tag. Regards Julian Russel see all reviews » |
