Ordered batteries online one day received them the next morning. I can't find out anywhere though how long the battery will last, as I have long calls from Canada and always afraid it will start beeping before the call is finished. How can I find this information?

Not an easy item to track down, as Tesco where the iDect phone was bought do not keep these non-standard batteries and none of the usual High Street battery suppliers I tried have them either. Thanks Ligo!

Supposedly a rechargeable battery, the handset would beep after a short time and eventually cut out altogether after only a year or so of use.
Other thoughts I bought the handset from Comet, but they do not stock the Sanik batteries so I was without a landline for some time until finding LIGO. I bought the batteries over the phone from LIGO - staff member was very pleasant and helpful and the batteries arrived promptly.

Bad points Buying a phone and finding the hassle you have to go through to get new batteries Other thoughts Maybe the website address for repacement batteries either on the side of the battery of somewhere on the phone it self.

once I put the product details into my search engine the item i required came up instantly. They were delivered very quickly.
Bad points searching all over Leicester trying to find a similar product. Although delivery was very quick, i was not home when the parcel arrived and had to wait a further 48 hours before i could collect. Other thoughts It might be a good idea to have these batteries available where you sell the products.

speed of delivery and suited the phone that had been on the blink for a year, currys and comet who both sell the phone didn't sell spare batteries and coukldn't tell me where to get them from. It took a small independent retailer to point me in the right direction
