In our large old house a succession of cheap and short lived cordless phone sets have now been replaced by the excellent Panasonic 7125 and what a difference it's made. Set up was easy so that all phones communicated stright away. Entering phone numbers into one handset, which could then be copied to all, was a joy. Clarity, with or without the speaker phone, is very good. The intercom function works very well and also allows for a 3 way conversation with an incoming caller. Because reception through thick old walls had been so poor with our previous phones we bought a costly repeater bundled with this set, which is said to act like a second base station. The trouble is that the Panasonic 7125 is almost too good and it's difficult to be sure that you will really need a repeater before paying for this expensive extra. If we had to purchase the 7125 as a bundle we now wish that we'd chosen the VOIP connector instead. Those who only want a first class straightforward multi-phone system will find it difficult to do better than one of the Panasonic 7120 series on its own.
