Good points
Everything is done via the handset, which is really easy to do. The pack we bought had 4 handsets and whilst 3 were already set up to work with the base, number four needed to be set up. On saying that once you do what most of us men don't do, and read the instructions, it was really easy. Within a few minutes i had everything up and running, and even with my hard of hearing the volume is fine.
Bad points I'm really not sure where they get the figures from about range? Our house is sprawling but our study, where the base is located, is right in the middle of the house. We can only just get reception in our furthest bedroom which is about 40 m from the base. I have put the range booster and aerial in our workshop which is about 100m from the study. It took about 2 hours of climbing around the workshop attic to find the right spot, but now it seems to be working really well. When they say 50m indoors and 300m out, I would love to know who decides that, is it in a house with no walls? Other thoughts Overall, I thought a good system. Easy to use and quite simple to set up, just the range booster and aerial do need to be high up to work properly.

Good points
Well designed modern phones
Bad points No instructions on placement of the arial and repeater, so there is a lot of trial and error. |
