Great phone & repeater package for anyone who has problems with the digital signal in an old house with really thick walls, this combination works well even with metre thick walls. Thanks for suggesting it and great customer service. Chris W, Yorkshire Dales

Generally a good product overall which is neatly designed and relatively simple to use. Some problems were encounterd when initially setting dates/times etc. This was surprising and frustrating but may have been due to mis reading the instructions in haste. Contact with the Panasonic help line quickly resolved the problem. The product is a bit pricey and at this level of cost (about £178.00) delivery should be free. The product has so far proved to be very much better when compared with similar cheaper products found in the standard retail outlets. Two of these cheaper products were tried previously and had to be returned due to poor sound quality and lack of range.

Excellent DECT phone for older houses,

We live in a 3-floor Victorian villa with very thick stone and lath and plaster walls. Previous DECT phones we had purchased were disappointing, with calls breaking up in various parts of the house.
The Panasonic KX-TG 7123s have been great with very clear reception in all rooms of the house. I initially set them up without the repeater we also ordered and they worked fine, so thought I had wasted money on that, but the range would not extend into the rear garden (base is in one of the front rooms, so signal has to pass through several lath & plaster walls and a 2-3 ft thick external stone wall) so the repeater has come in useful. I would recommend you try them without the repeater and order that later if need be. I would have to say that it took several attempts and a lot of patience to register the repeater with the base station, so would not describe it as simple to set-up, but once it was done it has been fine. Impressed with the functionality of the handsets, although SMS capability would have been handy. Turnaround of my order was also very good. Regards Mr Alistair J Grant
