Panasonic KX-TG 7123 Long Range Cordless

over the last few years I have tried many so called all singing and dancing phones , this is the only one that fits the bill , easy fitting, great reception , just do's what it says on the box .

We live in a 3-floor Victorian villa with very thick stone and lath and plaster walls. Previous DECT phones we had purchased were disappointing, with calls breaking up in various parts of the house.

The Panasonic KX-TG 7123s have been great with very clear reception in all rooms of the house. I initially set them up without the repeater we also ordered and they worked fine, so thought I had wasted money on that, but the range would not extend into the rear garden (base is in one of the front rooms, so signal has to pass through several lath & plaster walls and a 2-3 ft thick external stone wall) so the repeater has come in useful.

I would recommend you try them without the repeater and order that later if need be. I would have to say that it took several attempts and a lot of patience to register the repeater with the base station, so would not describe it as simple to set-up, but once it was done it has been fine.

Impressed with the functionality of the handsets, although SMS capability would have been handy.

Turnaround of my order was also very good.

The item arrived in great time & was installed with ease. The range that I get with the repeater (once located in an optimum position) is ideal for my needs & the phones are easy to operate. A great phone kit at a great price.

Prompt efficient delivery. Product was reasonably easy to set up and in fact worked well without the repeater, despite the range and thick walls in our house. Getting the repeater to operate was more tricky, no thanks to Panasonic's instructions. I fail to understand why they spend so much on developing superbly functional equipment and then give you instructions that look like they were translated from Japanese by a ten-year-old Inuit. (No offence to Inuits; many of my best friends are Inuits.) Got it working eventually, the trick being to leave the receiver in the cradle while paging.

Product was with us in 2 days. A bit fiddly to set up the repeater, but once up and running, the phones were fantastic. Ideal for houses with thick walls.

We live in a long, old house with many stone and plaster partitions, which made consistent signal for cordless phones near to impossible. Upon the recommendation of a ligo representative, we took a look at cordless phones bundled with range repeaters, and we finally decided to place an order for this set. It arrived promptly the next working day, and we immediately went about installing the phones and repeater. Installation was easier than we had expected, and performance exceeds our expectations! The signal is now strong enough to reach the entire house, including our second storey and our small patio. We have no complaints about the phone or ligo's service. We're very pleased and recommend this to everyone in need of a similar phone system.
