Panasonic KX-TG 7125 Long Range Series

In our large old house a succession of cheap and short lived cordless phone sets have now been replaced by the excellent Panasonic 7125 and what a difference it's made. Set up was easy so that all phones communicated stright away. Entering phone numbers into one handset, which could then be copied to all, was a joy. Clarity, with or without the speaker phone, is very good. The intercom function works very well and also allows for a 3 way conversation with an incoming caller. Because reception through thick old walls had been so poor with our previous phones we bought a costly repeater bundled with this set, which is said to act like a second base station. The trouble is that the Panasonic 7125 is almost too good and it's difficult to be sure that you will really need a repeater before paying for this expensive extra. If we had to purchase the 7125 as a bundle we now wish that we'd chosen the VOIP connector instead. Those who only want a first class straightforward multi-phone system will find it difficult to do better than one of the Panasonic 7120 series on its own. Wanted a phone to cope with 16th century cottage walls. This does the job. Easy to set up. No issues with Ligo - did just what they said they would. Very pleased

Excellent product, easy to use, easy to read manual. Had to use a repeater because I live in a Victorian property with really thick walls, so the sound isn't always crytal clear. But considering the thickness of the walls, excellent product.

Set up was easy, works extremely well in a large house that previously has seen many cordless phones that didn't work in many areas. Went a long long way in the garden. Highly recommended!

We live in a 3-floor Victorian villa with very thick stone and lath and plaster walls. Previous DECT phones we had purchased were disappointing, with calls breaking up in various parts of the house.

The Panasonic KX-TG 7123s have been great with very clear reception in all rooms of the house. I initially set them up without the repeater we also ordered and they worked fine, so thought I had wasted money on that, but the range would not extend into the rear garden (base is in one of the front rooms, so signal has to pass through several lath & plaster walls and a 2-3 ft thick external stone wall) so the repeater has come in useful.

I would recommend you try them without the repeater and order that later if need be. I would have to say that it took several attempts and a lot of patience to register the repeater with the base station, so would not describe it as simple to set-up, but once it was done it has been fine.

Impressed with the functionality of the handsets, although SMS capability would have been handy.

Turnaround of my order was also very good.
