Excellent phone set that was very easy to set up. On initial switch on the phones only needed seven hours to charge, far less than was expected. I received a triple pack plus one to make the four. The triple was already pre-registered, ready to go. The single then had to be registered with the base station, a process that was just simplicity itself. The menuing system is extensive, logical and simple to use. Not too impressed with the selection of ringbones’, very American, and with no obvious capability to upgrade – sorry no CTU24. Digital speech quality is excellent as is the hands free facility. It is simple to use and has first class sound quality at the other end. The phonebooks are superb. Two separate lists, both of which can be transferred to the other handsets at the press of a button or two. Numbers can be transferred singly or as a whole. One disappointment was the fact that the all numbers, in the large phonebook, can be placed into “categories” for easier searching. This categorisation does not appear to be transferred with the numbers when moved from one handset to another. The answer-phone is outstanding. There are three separate indications that you have messages waiting, and the messages can be retrieved from any handset. The base station power and phone point leads are a little short, only about a meter. Finally this is a high quality phone set with some minor niggles. Regards Eric Cox see all reviews » |
