This was a replacement for a BT Siemans system which has lasted over ten years but needed changing due to a couple of the phones finally failing. I had originally decided on another system but after a discussion with the sales person at LiGo went for this. We have 3 generations in our house, Mother and Father in Law, two adult children and ourselves. The caller ID is excellent as Mother in Law now knows who is calling on the mobile and actually picks up the phone. Also she can actually use this one and now uses the intercomm facility to call us, it says a lot for the system that she is finally prepared to give up her corded telephone. The clarity and the ability to enhance the higher frequncies is a boon to the elderly. Also being able to have two different ringtones for internal and external calls and different ringtones on each handset is an advantage to us. Simple to set up and easy to use with plenty of frills if you need them. I can't comment on the answer machine facility as we are unlikely to use it.
