This set of 4 phones replaced a Panasonic cordless pair. The Philips is much easier to use and setup - in the end I just gave up trying to remember how to navigate the Panasonic's menus. The Philips answerphone is good, and very easy to operate. Volume and clarity are good, and the intercom and call transfer facility is very useful. My only slight gripe is that the phone does not 'answer' the call when you lift it off the base. For a simple, 'no frills' phone with easy operation, this is highly recommended. Regards Roger |
