Our SE4352 doubles as a baby monitor (using the sound transmission function) for our three-month old. We keep the base station in our bedroom and the additional handset and cradle in the nursery. The sounds come in clearly, and we didn’t have to spend more money on buying a separate baby monitor. Having the spare handset in the nursery is also a great help to my wife who stays at home full-time to care for the baby. She can take calls even while in the nursery.
