BT Diverse 6250 Twin Cordless Phone

At long last, a product that does all that it says on the package! Brilliant! Before we made our decision to purchase this item, we had seen a lot of other phones but none seemed to have the excellent specification that this one did. It is a good design, feels very comfortable to use, was easy to set up, even easier to use and the clarity of the incoming calls is amazing. We have even downloaded our numbers from our mobiles. The answerphone is superb, easy to use, good volume control and shows the number of messages you have received. The fact that it is capable of taking 20 minutes of calls on the answer machine was a welcome bonus. Would most certainly recommend.

This works very well and does everything it says on the tin. The 2nd handset upstairs is ideal. Being picky one small complaint is that the screens on handsets are not 100% clear to see, otherwise excellent.

These are great, they have the range and maintain there crystal clear level of sound at the maximum range. The base station speaker could be a little louder but but the handset speakers are loud enough to be heard anywhere in the house.

The telephone works fine and does all it says it will do. The service from Ligo was excellent, much faster than I expected (telephone arrived next day) packaged well and in good order. Will definitely use them again for future purchases.

This system is easy to set up and use. My only criticism is that the letters by the numbers are very small and not easy to see against the silver background. Other than that it is a good product.

A great telephone with all the features to make it suitable for a small business eg conferencing, speaker phone, sim card uploads and downloads. The speaker phone is especially good and does not suffer the 'clipping' that occurs when some speakers switch in and out as the callers conversation starts and stops.
One small niggle is the white text on silver background which is difficult to read in anything but perfect lighting.
No trouble with an NTL line but do make sure you use the connecting cables which come with the equipment and do not shortcut by using any existing wallsocket to instrument cable.
We also bought the 6450 which is certainly worth the extra for the colour display.

A sensible telephone for everyday use, with a good selection of modern features. Some of these may not be used immediately e.g.text messageing, but may well get assimilated as time goes on.The white lettering on Silver background is a little tricky. The blue screen whilst attractive can slightly hinder clarity of the symbols etc. Very easy to set up including the Sim card transfer. If purchasers use some alternative provider for calls e.g. abroad then it's easy to add say 1363 in front of numbers already stored. Comfortable to hold; good sized & clear numbers.

Didn't want anything too complicated ,nor with features I'd never use, so I'm delighted with everything this phone has to offer.There are also 'innovations' that my children think are 'cool'!

this was only my 2nd purchase on the net and I have not been disappointed. The information on Bt diverse cordless phones was concise, my only one disappointment was the handsfree headset which appears very flimsy (I haven't tried it out yet). My phone arrived within a few days - I was expecting it to take longer as the delivery was to Northern Ireland.

These phones are very straight forward to set up and a pleasure to use. I like the SIM card reader. Useful as intercoms. Only downside: the ring tones could be improved.

Ordered the BT Diverse 6250 Twin which arrived the following day. Booklet attached extremely easy to read and follow through and was able to quickly enter all my personal data on to the new phone. Also as I`m a little hard of hearing the sound was excellent. I would highly recommend this phone for anyone considering a replacement. Much much better than my old BT phone.

Only had the phone a week. But it is doing all the things I want it to do. My main reason for buying it was that I can use the handsfree plugged into the phone, put the phone on my belt and go about the house without incurring neck ache, as well as being able to speak and do. So far so good - I love it. I had already been to Currys to look at different hansets and this one definately seemed to be the most ergonomic as well as having the belt clip incorporated. This phone is very similar to having a mobile phone as your housephone - its functions all work in a similar manner, the instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow. Ligo has been an easy website to use and the service excellent, as well as having the cheapest price that I could find for this product.

Not For Ntl servers as it cuts off the moment someone answers a call. BT say that there is a problem with this product which MAY BE sorted in a month - pity they did'nt tell me this in the first place!

Maybe the best landline phone on the market? Great to have a cordless phone with superb clarity and range. Great to have a large clear backlit display & simple menu. Great that it reads all names & numbers from my mobile's SIM card & copies them to BOTH handsets. Great that it sets the correct time automatically from incoming calls. Great that it stores the last 20 (or 30?) calls for easy ringback. Well done BT!

After being totally confused by all the different offerings for this type of product, we selected this one after reading some good reviews.
When it was unpacked it was very easy to set up, within minutes we had recorded our own answerphone messages, and had programmed the memory. If I look hard I could complain that it is a little quiet, but my wife reckons I'm just deaf, that really is it.

We looked at many phones all different makes and prices but if your looking for a phone that does exactly what it says then this is the phone for you. We were a little unsure wether to purchase another BT phone as our old model was the BT freestyle 2100 and although not very old (about 3years) we had difficulty in hearing callers but the clarity on this one is superb. I definitely love the ear headset as I can now be handsfree!! As our house is spread over 3 floors we get a signal from top to bottom with perfect clarity and having 2 handsets is definitely a bonus, so if you want a phone that looks like a phone with a few added extras then this is a good buy. Like me if you are unsure as to buy from Ligo Electronics then don't be their service has been fantastic, they kept us well informed along the way with our goods turning up exactly when they said.

Excellent 'phone. All the features I wanted and very easy to use except for one thing. My service provider is NTL and initially the answer machine would not work. I had to contact NTL to remedy this. This took some time as I did not realise that different providers could effect the phone features.

This all singing all dancing phone tends to hype the technology and leave one to guess the basics. The back lighting on the screen is poor. I am still unsure how to make a call on the handset no2. It may be my lack of Knowledge but surely the people who write the instructions should consider that not everybody is technically competent.

Love these phones. So easy to use compared to previous bt phones i have owned. Can copy phone directory from one handset to another seamlessly. Missed calls and messages are easily highlighted on the handset, and the build quality is very good. Overall highly recommended! Service from Ligo was excellent - ordered one afternoon, and they were with me the morning after!

Easy to set up, easy to use. I've downloaded my address book from my mobile's sim card, to save me punching them all in again, very quick and easy. Sound is really clear, no buzzing like most corless phones! The price is fantastic for the quality. A real bonus that isn't mentioned, is the fact that the second phone does not need a phone socket, just a plug socket! An excellent choice, and highly recommended to all. The delivery was in 2 days too!!

It is a well designed phone with loads of good features, most of which I wont use. The feature I got this phone for, is the headset attachment, so that I can talk and work on the computer at the same time. Otherwise it works well, easy to use and the sound quality is good.

This is a great product. The sound is fantastic, you can use them in the basement of your house with no interference.

They have all of the top features you want in a set of phones, particularly

1) the internal call button - so you can ring someone in a different part of the house if you have 3 or more floors and you don't want to climb all the flights of stairs with a message, you can also have a call on hold for someone else and ring internally to let them know

2) caller display for selective answering (you have to order it from bt but this phone enables it others don't).

3) answerphone, this is very easy to use, great sound and each handset lets you know if you have a new message

4) missed calls, if you go out and a few people call you know who and when

5) speakerphone and hands-free

6) the battery lasts for ages after you initially charge it

7) finally this was not clear when I bought this product but the additional handset/s can be plugged in anywhere in the house you do not need more than one phone line.

Above all the hansets are really clear and easy to use, whilst still having loads of features. Even the buttons are nice to use plus they look good.

I looked at loads of phones and read lots of reviews and found this to be the best all-round product. Good quality, good price and it arrived really quickly.

I was looking for a digital phone, 2 handsets with answer machine and caller display as the basic requirements. If possible I also needed a phone to use in my workshop 150 meteres away from the house. I chose this phone because I thought it may fulfill my requirements.
What I have is a phone that far exceeds what I was looking for. I am now the owner of a mini phone exchange for my home, office and workshop.
Excellent value for money and well worth the price
