The best of cordless phones

The BT Diverse 6450 Twin SMS is a product that does all the things it claims and certainly more than my personal requirements but it is good to have the options of it's abilities. It is very easy to use, smart, compact, and with both handsets having individual chargers there is little risk of being without a charged up phone.

Having researched all makes and models, I bought the BT6450 Twin and and am very pleased with my choice. The digital quality sound is excellent and reception at range is very good. It is stylish and ergonomically pleasing and you will find it hard to beat its well-specified functionality. I am using pretty well all of its functions and it is quite intuitive so you soon forget any initial complexity. I called the BT dedicated Diverse 6450 helpline on two occasions and was impressed with the service. There are a few minor niggles but nothing too serious; I've got over them. 1. There is a 200 x memory limit per handset (they can be different lists) but for the main handset that I use for my home-based business, I soon exceeded 200. But you can't tell how many numbers are in the memory until you fill it. 2. When copying from a SIM card it will copy until the memory is full and then stop. 3. The name field is only 16 characters long so when you copy from a SIM card and find your names truncated, you have to go back in to edit the longer names. 4. You can't store multiple numbers for a single name; each has to be a new entry. Specifying, for example, home, business, mobile numbers in the name field, uses up valuable characters. 5. The earpiece volume level is quite low, even when turned up to maximum. You can't use the answaphone base as a hands-free amlifier - at least I don't think you can. 6. The screen backlight is surprisingly bright and annoying in a dark bedroom. You can't turn it down however you can turn-off the illumination altogether which is what I do now. But now I might have trouble finding it in the middle of the night. Despite this list of shortcomings I'm pleased with the choice and it is good value for money. The customer service from LIGO was fantastic. I got my phones within 36 hours of ordering and precisely when I was advised they would arrive.

This product does what the the product description says it does. It is easy to set up and use and gives our staff the freedom to answer calls while on the move in the office eg to go from their desk to the filing system to check an enquiry etc without having to put our client on hold. The user guide is user friendly with clear step by step instructions. I would recommend this product.

Ordered this phone online at 10pm on a Wed and it arrived on Fri at 10.30am, well done liGo. The phone has a nice feel and the setting up is easy, I like the modern ring-ring and with an incoming call the

A vast improvement on previous models by BT in putting together a cordless digital but just one gripe, although the keypad is lit the letters are hard to see in poor light.

This phone set was recommended by Which and has lived up to expectation with many useful and fun functions. LiGo proved very efficient once again and are certainly my preferred supplier for telephonic kit.

I found the phones easy to use with a good range & clear audible reception. Being able to download photos & use them with different ring tones for people ringing in to know who the are is a great idea. Being able to use the phones to send & receive text messages on my land line is also a great. The service from 'ligo' was with the best I have had on the internet with their price for these phones being the cheapest I could find. Well done.

Bought these phones as my old Diverse had worn out! Have only one complaint and that is when the phone is on charge the screen stays lit up, which is a bit of a nuisance when it is by the side of the bed. Otherwise excellent as was the service received from Ligo.

A really great telephone jam packed with features. The only one missing is an automatic redial which I had on one of my previous phones. The rest is all there. Wonderful clarity on speaker phone. Great display (go for this one rather than the 6250 if you can afford the bit extra). Highly recommended, as are Ligo who provided first class service.

The bt diverse 6450 twin sms, is so easy to transfer phone numbers from your mobile to one hand set to another from your mobile sim card and the complete set up is fantastic.Also liked the cd which you are able to download wallpapers and ringtones from pc.Liked the coloured screens on handsets, what more can i say about it the best one that we have ever bought.

The 6450 Twin with SMS was bought to replace an ageing tape based answerphone that had given good and faultless service over the 16 years of its use. It was decided to buy a system that would give good clarity of both voice and music, and be able to deal with text messaging. (Our now adult children who are no longer at home use a considerable amount of texting in their daily activities - another way for them to keep in touch.) In addition, an internal intercom system was needed to link two buildings around 30 metres apart. The 6450 pack does all of this with ease, and cannot be faulted in what it does. Quality is good, and its GAP compatibility will allow more handsets to be hung of the base when needed - which will be fairly soon as more of the facilities are explored. An excellent bit of equipment.

We are very happy with our new purchase. The phones are packed with features but are not for the technophobes among you. They are by far the best phones we have bought for the house but we have still not mastered how to use all of it's functions. Overall promises to be a gret buy. Could not of had better service from Ligo Electronics. Speedy delivery and great communication with regards to order despatch and customer care after delivery. Would definately use again.

Very pleased with the speed of delivery and the product is excellent. Copying sim card couldn't have been simpler and also the whole directory to the other handset. The hands free ear plug is really useful as is the loud speaker facility. You can pick up your messages on the handset which I find very helpful . Would buy from Ligo again and would recommend them.

Selected this phone from ligo because of the previous great reviews. I am not disappointed. Great service from ligo and a great phone. After charging both handsets for the recommended period of time I had both phones working with all the main features and functions within minutes and I did not even need to open the book. Could not be simpler. Well done BT.

This phone was easy to set up and in use it is similar to that of a mobile phone so there is no great learning curve. Volume and clarity are good and the SIM card option makes loading a directory from the mobile very easy.

I can confirm that the specs of the BT6450 Twin are absolutely as described. The intercom facility I find beautifully clear and most useful in my current situation. At the age of seventy-plus I was encouraged to discover that the user guide was still easily comprehended. This is a good package at a sensible price. Recommended.
