BT Freestyle 7250 Trio review

Having never dealt with Ligo Electronics before I can only recommend that your service is Par excellence.
From the efficiency of my order to the delivery of the phones took no time at all.
The Trio is better that I imagined it to be, I especially like the way you can copy all or one of the phone numbers you put into one phone can be copied to the other handsets very easily.
The answer phone side of the Trio is also very easy to use, clear & annotated lets you know if you've already heard that message before of not.
The Trio is a superb buy.
I would certainly recommend Ligo Electronics to anyone thinking of buying a telephone to check your website first.

Very pleased with these phones, thought it would be over the top for the missus,but she proved me wrong and had no problem getting to know the workings and replying to my messages more promptly, two daughters love the idea of being able to phone individual hand sets, being able to hold a charge for a long time also helps when lost down the back of the sofa or left out in the shed, would certainly recommend, a good buy with easy menu and added feature of sim copying.

As per many other reviews, I have found these phone very easy to set up and use. The ability to transfere my mobile's directory to them saved hours of inputing numbers and the ability to send the directory between handsets was just as useful. If you can handle a simple mobile then these phones are a breeze. The quality of sound, range and ease of use make them a great phone.

We had used a Binatone cordless phone for some time, bought for price and its conferencing facility. The display was faint and spidery and it was difficult to hear some callers without using the 'loudspeaker' mode - which created echoes.
After looking around for some time we selected the BT Freestyle 7250 trio. The specification ticked all the boxes for our needs and added things like SMS which are a bonus; previously we had used SMS only on our mobiles.
This is a first class product, easy to set up and a pleasure to use.
Buying from Ligo was a smooth and painless experience.
I would recommend the Freestyle 7250 to anyone looking for a cordless telephone.

We are very pleased with this phone. Like the different ring tones to choose for external/internal calls. Very easy to operate - like a mobile phone. Clear display. Comfortable to hold. We have nothing but good to say about this product. Fast delivery, can only recommend Ligo Electronics.

These phones are well built, of good ergonomic design and most of all, very easy to navigate through its functions. If you have a modern mobile phone, then you don't even require the instruction manual for these phones. The sound quality is good, and the screen is nice and clear. I have nothing bad to say about these phones and although there are cheaper ones around, it is definately worth paying the extra for quality phones. I made that mistake last time and wouldn't do it again. The biggest selling points, I think, are their stylish ergonomic design and ease of use. The service was very good and one of the quickest deliveries I have had. What more can I say!

Initial order was not available so a few days were wasted deciding on replacement 'phones! The BT Freestyle 7250 trio and BT Synergy 4100 twin DECT were then ordered - and delivered next day. Installation and use easy, clarity good. Fingers are crossed to see if they maintain the 4* quality rating given.

I found this phone to be excellent. It is so easy to use and having put the sim card from my mobile into the phone all my numbers were transferred. How easy is that! The service from Ligo was exceptional. The phones arrived a day after ordering.

I found the instructions easy to follow in setting up the trio. Very useful to have extra handsets, but I must remember where I put them when not in the cradle.

Very useful to use as an intercom, but I have not been successful in transferring an incoming call. Maybe I have not understood the instruction book.

Buying the Freestyle 7250 Trio was one of my better ideas. Installation and setting up was easy and painless. I was to start of worried that the phones would interfere with my wireless network for the computers but it did not happened. The phone is an added benefit for me as I am now able to be on the phone anywhere in my property.

I purchased these phones for a friend. they arrived on time and when setup worked exactly as described with little use of the manual as they are very easy to work with.. If I need some new phones for my self I will definately consider them as replacements.

This phone package is excellent. It way out performs my old Binatone MD 2000 quad pack. The earpiece volume is very good & this was a major concern of mine, as I work in a factory, so my hearing is not what it was & I used to struggle to hear people with my old phones. With this though it's not a proplem. The answer phone is also very clear. The menu system is simple to use without the need to consult the manual & when the phone rings the button whith a green telephone on, flashes bright green, as a visual warning. Some of the ring tones are a bit quiet, but I managed to find on that is very loud. The ability to copy single phone book entries or the whole phone book to all the handsets is excellent & saves a lot of typing. The service I received from Ligo was second to none.

Excellent service from liGo, including the UPS delivery man who, having found us to be out when he first called, telephoned to ensure we would be in the following day.
The phones were easy to set up out of the box, although I have not yet had time to implement the full functionality. Two concerns which cause me to rate the product as 3* for now are: (1) the time setting on the base handset has to be reset after a power cut (but not on the other 2 handsets stangely enough) and (2) despite advice from BT that these phones are the most compatible with broadband (but no outright guarantee!), my broadband connection is still not 100% available to me. I find that, on occasions I have to hit the dial button on the phone a couple of times before I can get my modem to pick up the connection.

Simple to install and use, this was up and working in minutes. Using the handsets is like any mobile phone, and reception is reliable all over the house and down the garden, at least 100 feet from the base. Not surprisingly, it lost touch behind a corrugated iron shed. Each handset has its own directory, and single entries or the whole directory can be sent to the others. There is no common directory, though. Intercom & transfer are simple to use and reliable. As instructed, I read the manual before doing anything, and there are a few little things you won't discover otherwise, like remote operation of the answering machine, and setting PINs. The recording is clear (it replaces one which wasn't). You need Caller Display to get the best out of the call register, free with BT Privacy. This kit is an excellent on any phone line, and for us a superb companion to BT Broadband Talk and the Voyager 2500V.

Phones were easy to set up and once the contacts were set up, they were easily copied over to the other phones. Unfortunately the ring tones did not copy but that was just a minor irritation. Nice to hold and weighty, these phones are (so far) a great improvement on the Synergie phones we replaced.

Great phone, much better than my old Philips Onis. Sim card copier worked perfectly (from mine and my sons mobiles) and then you can copy the whole phone book or just one entry to the other handsets. Some sellers (eg Ligo) list the phone book as 50 names and numbers. ITS 100, NOT 50 OK!!!! Only small niggle - I like to listen to my messages on hands free, but if you press the handsfree button BEFORE the message has started to play, it switches the message play off, but I'll soon get used to it. One of my handsets has a slightly dodgy internal call button, and if you press it slightly wrong it goes to redial instead. I'm sure its a one-off which I'll get sorted when I have time; the general quality of the phones is excellent. To sum it up, it has all the features I was looking for, the kids think the blue screen is really cool, voice clarity is excellent and it even has a clever unobtrusive belt clip for carrying it around. A great buy.

A very easy set up process makes this system most acceptable, coupled with instructions which are in understandable English. The 'phones are good quality and the signal is very clear, they certainly represent good value and are much more user friendly than the Binatone system they replace.

In an old house with too few sockets this set is fantastic. We have the base station in the hall where its answerphone display is really easy to notice. I have a handset in my office with a headphone set, which makes my working life much easier. The final handset is in the bedroom. Perfect reception everywhere. The CLI is a first for us and I don't know how we managed without it now. The BT Privacy at Home service is free and includes free Caller Display and was activated while I awaited delivery of the set. I transferred my phone book entries from my SIM card and apart from having to remove a few +44s the process was simplicity itself. I then copied the phone book to each handset. Text messaging is novel for our landline but I've found it really useful, again another free feature of the Caller Display service. Only had them a week but so far can't fault them.

Used as a house and home business phone it does all it says it does. Very easy to use and set up. Transfer of numbers and names from SIM card brilliant and saved a lot of time. Primarily chosen for it's easy to use answerphone settings which are conveniently located on the base unit rather than having to scan through a phone menu though it has this feature too. Good hands free clear sound at both ends of the conversation. Haven't used SMS or it's ready menu of BT line service features but which are easily accessable at the press of a key. Key number/letter buttons are easy to press and locate. 5 ring volume settings with a 'no ring' included just a light flashing to show a call is waiting. Very pleased with my purchase and dream phone to use, also the very prompt delivery service from Ligo Electronics. Why not 5 stars? well it doesn't make coffee!!

Purchased this BT Freestyle7250 Trio unit to replace a nine year old digital phone. Delighted with this feature packed phone (three handsets in the box) and answering machine. You need a BT line with Caller ID to get the full features. The SIM card reader worked well and allowed copying over of mobile address book. Text messaging is a bonus. The answer machine has excellent clarity and was quick to set up. The menu system on each handset is very logical and easy to use. The address directory works just like a mobile phone address book. It lacks a quick dial feature which my old Synergy 1500 employed. The ringer has many tone and melody options but it could be louder on maximum setting. Overall, I'm pleased with the unit and will probably add a couple more handsets for other rooms. (It will operate up to 6 handsets). I'm happy and pleased I purchased this product. The service from Ligo Electronics was first class.

These phones are great. There stylish, great noise for ringtones
it has a lighted screen and it shows the time. I have never seen a set of 3 phones which are so fabulous! The other great thing it comes with a headset socket and it can hold up to 50 names in its memory. These phones are be ond 5 stars. You click on Menu and there is sms messages. answer mashine, handset settings, base settings, calander/clock and registration. Its simple, it does everything it says on the box!

Well that was simple enough. Take it out of the package, plug it in, charge the batteries and now I have the freedom of the house, garden and shed in which to send and receive calls whenever I like from my landline. The other facilities available like checking your messages away from are great too. Definitely one of my better buys.

Solid build quality, much better than the cheaper BT ranges. Clear display, good battery life. SIM transfer didn't pick up quite a few numbers from my mobile. Clear sound quality and good range. CLI and number-to-name translation makes getting the right person to answer the phone much easier.

I am very pleased with the 7250 Trio it seems very easy to use, SIM card transfers to phone very easily, saving lots of time. But care has to be taken when placing on charger to locate power.
