BT Freestyle 7250 Twin review

Have only had this phone a few weeks, but am quite satisfied with it so far. It was a hard decision between it and the BT Diverse 6250. Despite compiling a spreadsheet with the various features of each phone, I could not see much in the way of a significant difference between them. In the end, the BT Freestyle 7250’s bigger buttons swung me over to it. In addition, it seemed that perhaps it would be easier to register other handsets within the Freestyle range -- like the much cheaper BT Freestyle 2200 -- to another Freestyle base unit. I ended up simultaneously buying a 2200 Trio for less critical locales within the house (from another supplier) but have kept the 2200 model handsets registered to the 2200 base unit for now. So I don’t know if there is any problem registering them to the 7250’s. I can say, however, that the 7250 has far superior sound quality. It also has a much more solid feel and I like headset port feature as well as the headset that comes in the box. (Of course, it is considerably more costly than the 2200.) Incidentally, BT does not do much to clarify the differences between its many cordless lines -- e.g. Diverse, Freestyle, Calypso, Studio --so the decision was more complicated than it should have been. Ligo’s excellent and easily-navigable website with the many excellent reviews was a real help to me in my cordless phone research, so though I rarely write product reviews, I felt obliged to give something back in this case. One last thing … it does not seem possible to purchase additional handsets for the 7250, so if you do not want to go the route I chose, you should purchase as many as you need on the first go-round.

A good quality phone, sound is excellent and key pad a sensible size. Answer machine very simple to set up and use. The supplied handsfree plug-in is a bit fiddly, I will buy a proper headet to go with this product.

To date we are pleased with the product we have purchased, it performs to expectations at the moment as a basic answering machine and household comms system. In the future we will use more features of the system and expect it to perform as well as at present. The handset feels good and we find the menu's easy to navigate along with a clear and readable display, the keypad buttons are fine and operate with a nice feel and pressure. Black & silver not to all tastes but design and functionallity are good.
Ligo performance on delivery within expectations, product packaging and contents received in good condition. Product as requested and complete.
Would request Ligo display with more prominence the complete package price including taxes for retail clients, business clients are more than aware of competetive pricing.
Summary: Highly satisfied in early days.

Easy to set up, easy to use, clear screen, big buttons and excellent clarity. Have had the phone 3 weeks and have no problems up to now. The only thing I don't like is there is no audible indication that you have messages so you have to remember to look. Other than this, would recommend.

As one used to an ancient corded phone and not into mobiles I have found this phone very easy to get to grips with. I wanted something with reasonable sized buttons but that had all the modern conveniences and this Freestyle has fitted the bill nicely. I can recommend it to anyone and the delivery was very fast from LiGo.

Easy to set up, in fact seems to set itself up without having to insert date, time etc. Simple to use, good to see who has called (like a mobile phone), even though we may not be using all the features yet. Great to move into the 21st Century with phone & a-phone taking up so little space (in comparison to 1980's bricks!). Clarity, both normally and hands free, is excellent - answerphone similarly easy to operate. Would have no hesitation in recommnending these 'phones.

Very happy with the phone (although the buttons are the other way round to my Nokia mobile so I keep pressing ok when I mean cancel). Item was processed and dispatched very quickly from the supplier and arrived one day earlier than was promised. So, so far, so good.

This phone was a smart little package that is really easy to setup and get working. Most of the features are really intuitive and so reference to the manual is minimal. Just note that if using the SIM card reader that your numbers are stored on your SIM and not on your phone. :o)

I was looking for a new digital phone as the one I had was over seven years old.After a great deal of investigation I decided on the B T Free Style 7250 and was not disapointed.This phone has every thing you would require of a house phone and answer machine.The reception is crystal clear and the setting uo of the various programmes could not be easier.Also the servise from IiGo could not be faulted from ordering too delivery, exceptional.
