I always thought that with telephones, beauty came at the price of functionality, but this Verve series from BT just proved me wrong. It was my wife who insisted that I purchase this set for our house. It was the first time I had tried liGo and I have to say it was a good experience, from the ordering right until delivery.
The telephones’ cheery bright red colour was the first thing that I noticed when we opened the box. On our side table, the phone looks modern yet cheery. The answer phone takes clear messages and it was easy to learn to operate. Another good feature is the adjustable earpiece volume, which is quite helpful when there’s quite a din at home. At such a reasonable price (for a phone with a SIM reader and SMS Capability) I recommend this highly.

This phone is cool although some of the ringtones are pretty bad! The quality's good, I like the flashing alert for a new message, and it was easy to set up. Best of all is that it's red and fits in nicely in my newly decorated bedroom!
Delivery was quick and couldn't be faulted....thank you very much!

This really is an example of style over substance. The received audio quality makes anyone sound like they are gargling nails, the record quality (of the outgoing message) was so poor we never put the answer machine on. The menu lag is very noticable and if you use the 'quick find' function on the address book (i.e. pressing letter keys to filter) number entries start to dissapear! All in all a very shoddy product that I took back after 7 days. Avoid.

This is a satisfactory phone, attractive while being up to par features-wise with similarly-priced phones. My wife asked me to buy this as a birthday present primarily because it matched the colour and style of her small study at home. The answer phone was easy to use, and the recorded messages were clear enough. The sound quality was well enough for our limited domestic calling needs. This is nothing spectacular but it’s definitely not a poorly-designed unit nor is it a waste of one’s money. I give it a 4 out of 5.
Ligo was recommended to me by a co-worker who was exceedingly impressed by their service and I must say that I am a convert as well.
