We've had this phone for a couple of days now and its very low quality, particularly the speaker for ringtones is appalling and the voice sound quality has a buzz. We intend exchanging this product very soon. We had a BT phone years ago and we thought they might have got it together by now, obviously not.

I am going to steer clear of BT Phones in general but I advise everyone to avoid this particular model as it's buttons are too small and too close together, sound quality is appalling (sounds like listening to someone talking though a length of guttering). These are going in the bin as I can't return them, altough they have some good features I can't live with them, they are rubbish. Be more wise with £110. p.s I did not purchase these from this site

HAD QUAD OF THESE; FAULTY FROM WEEK ONE,COULDN'T RING OUT. THEN ONE OVERHEATED AND MELTED THE BATTERIES AND CASING. A FIRE HAZARD. RETURNED THEM

The Caypso 225 has been nothing but trouble. So much so that I have given up and will be throwing away all 4 handsets.
Egs of problems - Phone line appears engaged when it is not, unable to make calls (no dial tone), rings just once, mysterious bleeps... And this is after trying two base units
