Superb package, excellent quality
Mr. Christopher Horne
I had been looking to replace the BT package I had as the speaker phone was useless when used and people struggled to hear you and vice versa. The Panasonic package is superb quality with crystal clear reception and has a number of features that make it very good value for money. Setting up the additional handsets and connecting them to the base take less than 60 seconds. Highly recommend..

A 'mobile' home phone
Mr. Tony Curran
A quick guide is provided but as batteries have to be charged for 7 hours before initial use I thought it best to aquaint myself with the operating instructions booklet: with the multitude of features offered with this system I expect to be referring to it quite often! The batteries supplied with the handsets are of the Ni-MH (750mAh) type and are said to have an impressive operating time of approximately 180 hrs on standby and approximately 10 hrs while in use. Because of the short time I have had the phones I cannot yet confirm this. The handset rests nicely in the hand and the keypad and joystick are easy to use. Being of a more mature age I often have difficulty operating the keypad of the modern mobile phone but no such problems here. Having entered caller information into the handset (some 32 names) it was an easy task to transfer this information to the second handset and 20 names (maximum allowed) to the base unit. I have recorded 20 (max.) voice tags for the handset phonebooks but as it is so easy to use the search by name facility see the voice tag search as a bit of a gimmick. The intercom facility is useful, particularly when the wife wants to order a cup of tea to be delivered to her in bed,and we both find the speakerphone a really useful feature leaving hands free and the ability to have a multi-person conversation. I have not yet used the wakie-talkie mode and am not yet sure I ever will, and it does of course prevent incoming calls all the time it is in this mode. The answering machine has only been called upon once and functioned fine as we would expect On the whole I can honestly say I am delighted with the purchase and have no hesitation in recommending it to young and old alike. |
