Made for the job Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell 5/5

How nice to handle something that is designed to do a job rather than to look cool.
Phones are getting smaller all the time, some now so small they are, in practical terms, quite useless. The handsets with the Panasonic KXTCD 290 TWIN reverse that trend and are consequently very user friendly. Strongly recommended to those who like things to last and don't want to change their phone every few months because the old one has fallen to bits.

Decent, solid phone Mr. Mark Sheppard 4/5

Functions are quite intuative. Belt clip is solid. Keys are lockable, an important feature for me, I missed this on my last phone. Never sure why these phones are so bulky, mobiles with cameras are a fraction of the size of cordless phones. This one is a bit big for pocket dwelling which was my main reason for wanting lockable keys, so the belt clip will get a workout. Have not yet tested its water resistance or bounced it but it looks like it is built for a bit of wear and tear. Range is a bit better than my last Siemens BT phone. Battery life with minimal call time, and left on 24/7 seems to be a few days. Would have hoped that a larger phone would have a bigger battery but if it is on the charger I can't loose it as easily as the last one. Although a decent size, I must say that it is comfortable to hold and use. I've not tried the answer phone yet but have read the instructions and it seems as simple as everything else with the phone. If the handset lost a bit of bulk it would have had 5 stars. Happy with my purchase though.

Panasonic KXTCD 290 Mr. Daniel Jones 5/5

Robust, very clear sound and the range is far superior to any cordless phones we've had previously. Very easy to use functions and nice and chunky so it's impossible to mislay, no unnecessary features just works well, can't fault them

Not exactly a looker, but does the trick Anonymous 5/5

No problem with installation and basic operation. Hopefully the combination of Panasonic quality and this phone's ruggedness will make it last longer than the defective Philips and Siemens models it replaces.

Panasonic KXTCD 290 TWIN Shock and Splash Resistant Phone Stuart 5/5

Product Spec, Cost (inclusive of delivery) and Service THUS FAR are exemplary! One hopes that their Customer Service is half as good; though I feel confident that I will not be disappointed in this respect either.

Great phone and answer phone Anonymous 4/5

Easy to set up and use, great clear answer phone etc. Only small niggle is the handset volume could be a little louder when speaking to someone who is very quiet but other than that really pleased

Satisfactory Anonymous 4/5

Not bad, easy to set up and does the basics well, good quality sound. I was a bit surprised to find that there is a soft orange light round the aerial when it's on charge, a bit like a night light. don't know if it can be turned off. Power cable was a bit short.
