Excellent product well worth the extra money

I am very pleased with this Panasonic product which has proved easy to set up and use. Its connectivity with a computer makes editing the phone book very easy and you can put your own photos on the colour screens as wallpaper. The novel feature of caller ID speaking a name when somebody in your phonebook calls is really useful. Well done Ligo Electronics too, the phone was in stock and arrived the day after I ordered it!

I've only had this phone a short time but so far it has done everything I want. The programming is intuitive and the instructions concise which saves a great deal of frustration. The handset weighs nicely in your hand - unlike some of the more lightweight models. The buttons don't stick, the screen is clear, the sound is crystal, the ring tones are adequate. My only gripe is the price liGo was the cheapest but IMO the phone (and mine is the trio) is overpriced even for a so called 'top of the range' phone. But then al I want is to be able to make and take calls without hassle and if I could have done that without having to pay for bells and whistles I would have one......

Like just about every other review on this phone set up i think it's a fantastic piece of kit. Excellent clarity, easy to use and excellent answering machine. Have had great fun recording the voice caller id which still cracks us up when we here them (yes its juvenile but hey). Couldn't use the USB facility to download address book - far too complicated for me and still don't really understand how i managed to transfer them to the additional hand sets, but i did which is all that matters. Given it a 4 because of this and because like most of the reviews have commented on the blue light being constantly on really is annoying in the bedroom and seems to be a waste of energy. Have solved the problem by putting a sun glasses cover over it, but shouldn't really have to do this. Despite this, I would buy it again even though i had a real shock when the credit card bill came in (had sort of blocked out the cost when saw all the rave reviews!). Had an appalling Phillips set up before which cost the same price for three as one of these phones, but the addage certainly stands up in this case 'you get what you pay for'. Must comment on Ligo as well - the whole transaction was painless and faultless. I felt very secure using them and would definitley look to them for other products should i need them. Well done Ligo.

Everything the product promised to be - we are very pleased. The features incorporated are comprehensive but relatively easy to set-up. USB link to PC gives more control than a SIM card reader. The build quality suggests that these phones will last better than previous cordless phones we have purchased.

Received my 3 Panasonic KXTCD 820s last week. They are sleek but substantial looking and feeling and although I still haven't figured out every function the phone offers, I am very happy. The colour screen is very clear, everything seems relatively easy to follow and the sound is excellent. I am sure the phone will make us happy, and keep us busy, for many years to come. A lot better than my old rubbish Calypso system from BT!

Having gone through many BT phones systems and looking around in Currys and all the others like Comet etc I came across your site. The product is proper! It works it's even Fun! The service was good if not dam good only thing was the main phone had possibly been on demo as you could tell it had been re wrapped. Other than that so far so good. BiG D

Does everything well - only criticism is the backlight stays on whenever the handset is on the cradle. This wouldn't normally be a problem but it lights up a room at night thus drawing attention to it if your curtains are open (cause you are on holiday) or being a nuisance (if you have a handset in the bedroom). Apart from that seems very good and plenty loud enough - which wasn't the case with the previous BT branded phones we had.

I purchased the KXTCD 820 from Cordless-Phones UK who provided an excellent service. It is a superb phone with outstanding voice quality. It is easy to use and to set up. The range of facilities is extensive and there are some neat touches such as in intercom mode being able to give the different handsets meaningful names (eg. Kitchen, Study). Highly recommended. We've had this phone for about 2 weeks now. The sound is extremely clear in contrast to our previous DECT. Did not get around to use any of the more advanced features, but the phone is lovely to use, the batteries last forever and the keypad has a nice feel to it. I recommend this product if money is no object.

Truly a product that DOES the job. Critically, no interference issues and good sound quality. Features provide excellent flexibility of use although I've yet to use USB for Outlook contacts to be ported over. Always a downside; I believe this product is now discontinued, probably because it 'ticks all the boxes'!! Thanks to the excellent support and staff at Ligo at least they had the product. BTW the battery life is superb; useful if like me you tend to knatter a lot!! - Thanks Ligo, my second order, and you came up trumps!!!
