Panasonic KX-TG 7125 Quint DECT review

I bought these phones to replace an aging set of Binatone DECT phones I had. I decided to go for Panasonic as I tend to buy their brand and, although I realise these are a bit on the expensive side, I am really pleased I spent the extra money. These phones are feature-packed, but still very easy to set-up and use. The answerphone system is easy to use, and can be accessed from any handset as well as the base. The speakerphone system works well with callers being able to hear me clearly even when the phone is away from me (on the coffee table, for instance). The phone book is easy to use and then it is straightforward to copy the phonebook from one phone to all the others. Add to this the caller ID, calls made list and call screening facility and you've got a great set of phones.

I did have difficulty in registering the various phones to the base BUT the Panasonic help line was superb. I was taken through the process whilst I was on mobile phone. I was impressed with the courteous help Phones are working well

This is the easiest phone I have set up, and there have been many over the years. It is simple to use, the instructions are clear. I recommend highly.

We are very pleased with this phone set which is working very well. The sound of the recorded messages is clear but could be a little better and the instructions have to be read carefully. Good points are that numbers installed on one phone can be copied to all extensions and the answerphone announces the number of calls and times of calling

The Ligo website is very easy to use and the goods arrived promptly and well packaged. The instructions are very clear and user friendly, in no time at all, the phones were ready to use. The phones are very compact with an easy to read display. A very stylish and compact sytem. Would strongly recommend.

Brilliant customer service - order arrived next day. Good phones. Really easy to instal. Colour screen on the 2 additional handsets only - would have liked this on all 5. Works well as intercom (when you can remember where which handset is!) All in all, very pleased.

On the whole the set is very good. My only critiscm is that the ringing can not be set loud enough. My circumstances are a little unusual in as much tha one of the phones is in a fairly noisy workshop, and the phone is rarely heard over the general noise.

Brillant Fantastic . Easy to set up. Good sound. useful that you can turn down ring tone on some phones but not others.
Much longer range than our previous BT synergy and easier answerphone to use.

These phones were very easy to install and are exceptionally easy to use. We live in a very large old house and all the handsets have crystal-clear reception, even the one that is located furthest from the base unit. The reception is also excellent when we take the handset out into the garden. I have no criticism of these phones, they're really excellent.

Range excellent - will reach deadspots that previous phone systems wouldn't reach. I had considered a repeater but, on reading other reviews I decided against this. I was glad I made the saving.
It has been used successfully by my elderly father who is a hearing aid wearer, previous digital cordless phones were unuseable by him, he had to stick to corded, analogue, with amplifier.
Delivery was first rate.
Probably the only negative points are that I haven't yet found a way to turn off the ringer on one or all handsets (maybe this is not possible) and adjusting the volume on one handset seems to adjust to the same level on all handsets - ie: you can't set different volumes for different handsets in different locations so a late night call could wake the kids.
Call transfer and internal calls are easy-peasy. Very similar to my old BT Synergie.
With this number of handsets, the phone is always within reach, no more tripping up in the race to find the handset and pick up the call.
Stored directory and caller display are excellent.
Key depression is very responsive, no more need to break a nail trying to get the digit to register correctly.

Having read all the other reviews prior to purchase, I can only agree - the system is great. Very easy to set up, easy to use, does all that it's supposed to. I agree with one of the previous reviews that it would be good to be able to name extensions, but other than that it is terrific. (I would also like to add that the previous complaints, about glow-in-the-dark handsets has now been rectified, and this causes no problems at all!!)

I have just purchased the panasonic KX-TG 7125 phone system for my children's day nursery. I particularly wanted to use the intercom system so that people in different rooms could communicate easily. I set the 5 phones up within minutes - I thought it might be complicated - and the full system is being used in ernest now. I would definetly reccomend these phones - they were just what I was looking for!

I bought these phones to replace a binatone system which was becoming unreliable. These phones are very good and attractive to look at. The only fault I can find is that the sound quality is not as clear as it could be. There also seems to be a time delay after dialling the number and it actually ringing. However, I would still recommend them.

These are very nice phones, clear sound, ring tones good and loud, and many useful facilities. They are very easy to set up, incljuding transferring the address list between phones once entered into one handset. This phone is a big contrast with the BT phones I have discarded, which gave nothing but trouble. Service/ delivery was exactly as promised.

Crystal-clear reception, bright sharp display, straightforward menus with a four-way button. Good intercom and answer machine available from the handsets. We use five handsets in our three story house. Previous Binatones suffered in one location, a corner with electronic equipment. Not a problem with the Panasonic. Highly recommended.

This really is a great product. Easy to set up and start straight away. No need even to record a message for the answerphone - but desireable as it is just a bit stilted. But doing your own is easy to do - as is collecting messagees when away. If there are no new ones, it doesn't cost you a call!

The vendors service also was first-class. Next day despatch and delivery within 36 hours. Fantastic!

A long time ago someone recommended a Panasonic digital telephone but I was persuaded by the shop assistant to buy some other brand. Oh how I wish I had taken their advice at the time! Nothing but trouble with the phones I did choose.
10 years on I have now bought the Panasonic KX-TG 7125 Quint DECT and what a superb telephone system it has turned out to be, easy to set up and within a few days I was using nearly all of the features it has to offer.
The range is excellent, and communication is clear as a bell. Simple to operate, full of useful features.
I generally don’t recommend anything to other people, but in this case of the Panasonic KX-TG 7125 Quint DECT I will make an exception

these phones are really good, light, charge well and very easy to use. I had BT phones before and they were absolutely useless! so i would advise anyone to go with Panasonic!! I do have to say there are 2 annoying features on this phone though, one being that the LED light that comes on when the phone is in charge is VERY bright and ORANGE and annoying at night time as it does light up the room! You can either take it off charge at night and it will last through or just cover it up with some masking tape!! The other feature that I would like to see would be a silence button for when the phone is ringing and you might on your mobile or something and would be so nice to be able to silence the phone. Other than these picky reasons the phone is brilliant and would definitely recommend.

One feature in particular is exceedingly useful, that is the facility to input one's phone book into just one of the units and then to copy it to the remaining units with a few button presses. The range of all the units, from the master, is more than sufficient. I have not managed to find out how to lock the keypad, if such a facility exists, for when I carry a handset in the garden. I would like to have seen the ability to switch on the answer system from a handset with just one button press rather than through a menu, albeit not extensive. Altogether satisfied with the purchase.
