The wireless concept makes life so much easier - and Panasonic do it better than all the rest. My family like the weight and feel of the handsets, and the clarity of sound - especially the handset speakerphones - is amazing.

This system was easy to set up and use. The intercom facility and the ability to have up to six phones in one system is particularly useful for contacting children who are at the other end of the house. They seem to respond better to a phone call than a shout. There are a large number of ring tones available, but many are quite naff. The sound quality is much better than my old analogue phone. The phone book can be copied from one phone to another which saves considerable keying. Phone numbers can be grouped by self defined categories, but these have to be entered manually onto each handset. Don't forget to keep a handset that does not need a mains connection for use during power cuts. Overall a good system that should be in your shortlist.

The things I like about this phone is that it is comfortable to hold and easy to use. The dialling buttons work nicely and everything so far works as it should (I haven't tried everything yet). I find the features easy to use and fairly intuitive. There is nothing I dislike about it and would definitley recommend it

I ordered a set of six panasonic telephones, they arrived within three days, they were well packed and complete with all relevent instructions. I had them working within the hour and have found them to be ideal for my type of business

Firstly, I would recommend the service from Ligo. The sales staff were very helpful and the order was handled very efficiently. These Panasonic phones are easy to set up and use and I found the instructions quite straightforward. The phones have all the basic features I need (intercom, call transfer, etc) and I particularly like the ability to set up contacts on one handset and then copy them to the others. I also like the fact that all handsets have speakerphone capability. I know there are models with more features (such as downloading contacts from SIM, etc) but this model delivers all the basic functions very effectively.

I've had these phones for a few days and very nice they are too. Just a note to reviewer below on how to turn off backlight. This bothered me too for a while, but here's the solution. Go to menu items: Settings > Display > Backlight. For here you can set the backlight stay off/on when in cradle or off/on when out of cradle.

Needed to reduce the REN load on my home phones to use ADSL broadband. Chose 8126 set after Internet research and reading the manual at http://techdocs.panasonic.co.uk/ Chose Ligo on price and because they were very pleasant and helpful on the phone. Set arrived after quite a delay due to having to wait for deliveries from Panansonic. Dead easy to install and worked as expected straight from the box after initially charging the batteries overnight. Needs caller identification activated from phone company before incoming call memory works, but otherwise as expected from the spec. Only minor niggles are that phone book entries cannot be broadcast to all handsets in one operation, which makes updating 6 rather more tedious than it needs to be, and the flimsy plastic bases for the additional handsets seem rather vulnerable when wall-mounted. I would also like to be able to turn off the screen and charging lights when on the base to avoid lighting up the bedroom at night, but this isn't really a major problem. The internal intercom facility has proved very useful, especially now I've changed to ring tone to something very different from that for an outside call, but I would like to be able to ring all other extensions at once rather than only one at a time, since I don't always know the whereabouts of the other people in the house. Niggles are very minor and overall this is an excellent setup with very clear voice reproduction and no obvious fading when moving about inside the house..

Overall very happy. We have a spread out house and this system works well for us. Easy to set up and once names and numbers entered in one handset, the copy function from one handset to another works better than on a previous model I had. I just wish that they would let you do this on a regular pc and download and maintain from there via a USB link to the base. Adding additional numbers later takes organisation or else they don't get onto all handsets. Ringtones very synthetic and leave a bit to be desired for an old fashoined person like me but speaker phone function works well as does transferring calls between handsets. Answer machine simple and easy. The colour screen works well but to save power it blanks out after a while which makes it difficult to spot missed calls or even the handset ID number without pressing a button first. Personally I preferred the previous, always on, black & white screen. Overall though this is more intuitive and easy to use than a similar Panasonic set I bought about 3 years ago. I would recommend it.

on plus: perfect sound and services -sms working ok, call trensfer between handsets as well.Signal ok on three floors. on minus: lcd can be bigger, ringtones not perfect , but gustibus non disputandum est

My wife and I, both in our late 60s, bought this phone after years of frustration with others. In the end when our last phone packed up we spent a long time looking for a replacement. We came up with this Panasonic and are we pleased we did. It was a dodle to set up, the phone book being particularly good, the sound is great and the screen, if possible, even better. There are things on the phone we will never use but all the basics and more are really good. I must mention the answer machine, which again was very easy to set up and use. Very recommended, as is this company, which delivered on time and can be contacted easily.
