Good points
Clear sound quality
Clear screen quality Looks Great Long Battery life Typical Siemens Quality Bad points Maybe it feels a little light and plasticy but it certainly doesn't look or act that way. Other thoughts First up i should say i purchased a philips ID555 because well i liked the look of it in the pictures. Please don't make the mistake i made because when you get it, it dissapoints big time, poor sound, poor screen, poor range. Anyway Ligo were great, i sent it back free of charge and decided on the siemens s595 trio. I did have to wait a few weeks until it was released but it was worth the wait. I had a siemens in the past and having had the short experiance of owning a philips i now realise why siemens are rated so highly particularly by ligo. For starters the sound is really clear absolutly to crackle or background hiss. The screen is equally clear with 2 colour schemes but the black is the best The keys give a clear click when pressed and everything is layed out as it should be. My only critisism is it does feel very light and possibly has a plasticy feel about it, personally this doesn't bother me as it looks great especially as the current vogue is glossy piano black and more importaantly it sounds great. Oh one last point the only thing i liked about the philips was if you updated your phone directory on one handset it automatically updated the rest, with the siemens you have to manually send the update to your other handsets, not a big deal IMO. simon

This is a great phone! Very clear sound quality and nice loud ring (slept through my old phone ringing) and very easy to use.
Bad points I actually can't think of anything I don't like about it. Other thoughts Highly recommended.

Very easy to set up. I would Buy this product again, it is just what I expected from it. The voice is very clear which is why I bought it in the first place as my hearing is not to good.

I have only been using this for two weeks, but so far I'm very impressed. It's very sophisticated yet simple to use and set up.
Bad points Shiny surface shows fingerprints badly. No technical faults found yet.

Excellent product. Previously had a set of BT phones. No comparison. Can't really find ant bad points. If there was one it would be that I would prefer handset a little weightier, but that is being pernickity.

I am 83 and have damaged hearing and my eyes are not so good but I find I can cope easily with this phone.
Bad points People who never read instructions .. just forget it and send it back!! The initial charge and discharge of batteries is a bit of a pain. Other thoughts Having bought a triple I am glad it enables you to copy numbers from 1 address book to another. The sound quality is good which is very important to me. All in all I like it and (thank god) so does my wife. Much better than previous phones I have had. Dave Carman

Why is eco mode a gimmick, it is most certainly real. Clearly you have no children and no concern for the environment. Personally I only buy Siemens because of the ECO DECT. 27th Oct 2010
I agree with Metcaa1, we intend buying one of these phones just *because* it has Eco and Eco+ mode, even if that is a bit inconvenient sometimes, because Eco mode is *safer* --for the user, as well as their families, and also better for the world as a whole. The energy savings are real, but trivial according to Siemens site. A 2 watt saving for as long as you use the phone - maybe an hour or so a day? Just turn off another light for 15 minutes. The power supply is more efficient but you'll need to do more than this to save the planet.

Very easy to set up apart from "see bad points" Nice phone to use for long conversations.
Bad points If you have two phone the procedure to pull the numbers you have entered int one phone over to the other is just not worth the hassle liGo

looks good and works ok so far.sound quality really good which is one of the reasons we changed our phone.
Bad points none so far. Other thoughts just wish the screen saver would go off after a time as one handset is in the bedroom and it is like having a light on all night we can not switch it off as we need the phone incase of emergency calls through the night we run a transport company. Paffman

Go into 'settings', 'audio display', 'backlight', 'in charger' and change to 'off'. This setting will allow the handset display to go off in the base.

Bad points The second phone base unit does not make the phone sufficiently stable when seated. (Base could be heavier) Other thoughts Answerphone playback is okay but could be clearer

GOOD SOUND FROM BASE & HANDSETS, NICE & CLEAR SCREEN, SO EASY TO SET UP & USE, PLENTY OF FEATURES.
Bad points BELT CLIP A BIT USELESS AS PHONE NOT SUITABLY SIZED TO WEAR ON BELT. Other thoughts WANTED TO UPDATE MY OLD SEIMENS BT PHONE, SO LOOKED AT ALL, BUT GLAD I BOUGHT THE GIGASET C595 Duo AS DOES ALL I WANTED AND MORE. SO EASY TO USE AND SET UP. QUALITY JUST OOZES FROM SEIMANS, AND THE LIGO REPUTATION YOU CAN RELY ON.

Easy to plug in and use, excellent and comprehensive instruction manual. Cannot think of any missing features that are needed.
Bad points handset feels a little fragile Other thoughts excellent phone with good clear reception. Amazingly prompt delivery, one day, at no extra cost.

Lovely phone with more features than most will ever need. Sound quality is superb
Bad points None that I have found! Other thoughts We always look at Siemens Gigaset first when buying dect phones. The quality, features and value for money of this brand can't be beaten in our opinion.
