Siemens Gigaset S455 Trio Cordless Phone

This is a very good phone. We purchased the triple set and so far are delighted with its quality. Feels great to hold, has a nice colour screen, speakerphone and some other features which we're still learning. This is miles better than our old BT phone - would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top quality phone!

Got these phones a couple of days ago, great service from Ligo. Delivered two days after ordering! Phones are of very high quality, although the charging stands look a bit cheaper plastic. Having used many of the features so far, the only thing I feel let down by is the poor choice of ringtones provided - what was Siemens thinking of? Overall, extremely high quality phones, would recommend both the phones and Ligo!!

Having struggled for some years with an inferior phone, we were delighted when this particular model fulfilled virtually all of our expectations. With four separate phones the most useful feature is being able to transfer the address book from one handset to another.
It is comfortable to hold and easy to use and the display is particularly clear and practical for nightime use with a dimmable backlight.

I ordered this set a couple of weeks ago. Excellent service......ordered Friday pm...received Wednesday am, so 2 working days. The Siemens Gigaset S455 is very simple to set up, even for this telephone luddite. It mirrors a mobile phone type setup, very easy to key in text etc for numbers/addresses and so forth. Well done Ligo.

Having bought more conventional phones in the past, this one has been something of a revelation. Apart from its good looks, the phone has a wide range of practical features which are easy for even this techno-phobe to make use of. The battery lasts for a good while and its possible to pick up/ delete answer phone messages from the phone itself rather than just via the base. Even the pre-recorded message has been commented upon in a favourable light be incoming callers!
Speedy, efficient delivery and excellent communication from Ligo during the transaction has made this a more than positive experience in every respect.

Great phones, battery life seems very long, sound quality is also very good. Loads of features which can be time consuming to setup but you dont have to use them if not wanted, good choice of ringtones. All round very satisfied.

Really clear loudspeaker - which is why we bought it, because I'm deaf. In all other respects a good home phone with all the frills (many of which we won't use!) and excellent quick delivery from ligo.

I`d previously had a Siemens mobile, which I`d liked and this is why I went for this phone. It`s very much like a mobile, both in the size of the handset and the range of features - which I`m gradually getting the hang of! It`s neat and was easy to set up. I love the ring tone, which burbles away and which always make me giggle so whoever rings me always gets a cheerful greeting - no bad thing. I`d definitely recommend it to others.

Perhaps two 70+year olds should have chosen a more idiot proof 'phone to set up, BUT, having now achieved it we think the 'phone is great, especially the easy transfer of numbers to another handset.

we've only had these phones for a short while, this is the only reason that i can't give them 5 at present. The build quality of the phone is excellent and they are easy to use. Ligo seem to really care about their customers too, which is a refreshing change.

This is the second time I've ordered from Ligo, the first being almost 2 yrs ago and once again the service has been extremely professional, fast and efficient!! Well done guys for keeping up the standard! As for the Siemens Gigaset S455 Duo Cordless Phones, they are just simply brilliant! Siemens has the reputation for making the BEST Digital Cordless phones around and this phones proves it! Very easy to set-up and use. Extremely user-friendly with crystal clear sound....you'd be fooled into thinking your using a corded phone! Siemen phones may be more expensive then others but in the end you are paying for a very well built and engineered phone! It feels solid, heavy and of superb quality! German engineering speaks for it self! Buy this or any Siemens phones and you will not regret it!! 5*'s all the way!

I've had the opportunity of looking at the BT verve and Siemens S455. Being a top end of BT range i didn't think much of it, in terms of design and functionality there wasn't much on offer. The S455 however is surprisingly lightweight, better looking alternative packed with alot more sensible and useful features. The sound (big sell) is as crisp and clear at the far end of my garden as it is on the pavement at front of the house.
If you can use a mobile phone it's pretty easy to figure out basic functions, don't be swayed by that. Its a phone deserving of 5 stars for doing all it says on the box and doing it well.

Delivery was speedy, received next day if ordered early. The only gripe is not getting an answer to an email just after point of sale. But I'm just being picky! :-)

We're delighted with our purchase. Having read the other reviews, I am very happy we went for the S455. The build and sound quality are great. We probably haven't used all its features. But the most important things for us were good audio quality on the handset and speakerphone and this phone far exceeds our expectations.

Good service by liGo too. Phones arrived a couple of days after order in secure packaging.
