We took a little time to choose new phones after we knocked the last cordless in the sink!! The reasons that I went for this phone was firstly ECO DECT aspect (I felt any reduction of power usage is helpful), answerphone and address book that you can transfer between handset were other key features. Arrived quickly, easy to set up, have also added caller id which is excellent for getting telephone numbers for the address book and information when people called. Wish they could link up to the PC so you could managed the address book easier but they don't. Call quality is superb, base station is downstairs and we have no problems on the top floor (3 floors up). Worth the buy very happy with them and good service from LiGo. Scottmolloty

Excellent next day delivery service. Easy to set up phone and answer machine facility. Clear to read screen. Nice range of user friendly ring tones. The 4 phones give us the flexibility we need and the Intercom is a bonus. The alarm system works a treat, The long 7 hour initial battery charge period can be mitigated by setting it up to do so overnight, Great phone, superb service from ligo and one very satisfied customer. ceebee

Can anyone tell me if the answering machine has a sound to indicate there is a new message?

Impressive DECT 'Phone Set
Mr. G J Payne
This is a very neat and compact home 'phone system, complete with answer 'phone. I bought it to replace my old 'Philips Xalio Vox' DECT (nearly 10 years old). My, how technology has moved on. I have only had the phones for just over a fortnight, so I am still learning, so please bear this in mind when reading on. Pros: - Small, neat and compact base station (much smaller than my last one) - Easy to use - Handsets neat and stylish, with large clear screens - Menus fairly intuitive (for the most part) - Very good signal range (no problem managing 6 handsets (I bought an additional one)) - Good range of features on the handsets - Easy to load 'phone numbers onto one handset and then transfer the data to one or more handsets electronically. You can do this with individual numbers or with a complete directory of numbers - Nice intercom feature, which means you can easily transfer calls between handsets, so no more running upstairs with the 'phone looking for teenage sons - Ability to ascribe 'VIP' status to selected numbers, so that you can allocate different ringtones and/or pictures to chosen numbers Cons: - if you have your line set up to withold your own number when making calls (as I do), you can't use of the SMS feature (at least not as far as I am aware) - so it depends what's most important to you - your privacy, or being able to use SMS - the picture gallery is a bit limited and the pictures a bit 'cheesy'. It would have been nice to have a bit more choice - the 'priming' process for the handset batteries is a bit of a chore (charging up for 7 hours and then completely discharging, before regular use), but probably no more so than with a new mobile 'phone Overall very pleased with the purchase. Also, nice to speak to a person when 'phoning 'Ligo'

Fantastic
Mr. Colin Neale
I shall keep this short. Great phones. Even better price. phones are easy to use sound quality is top notch only down side is there is no sim card reader so all numbers have to be keyed in manually. Apart from this.. if you need 6 phones i would look no further. And just a note to the company. Fantastic is the only word when you read other comments about items turning up so quickly i was doubtful.. How wrong was i.. Well done guys i recommend your site to anyone!

The first eco friendly phone on the market and hopefully soon other manufacturers will follow. The sound clarity is exceptional, it's very easy to use (although reading the manual is recommended, as this phone has a wealth of features). The only problem I have is that I am in need of more handsets, which I am just about to buy from liGo. The service I received from them was excellent and I am happy to recommend them. Corter

An ECO Phone?? IF this doesn't highlight just what A money spinner tagging the word ECO onto any thing and everything is ,then I don't know what does. I won't buy this for that very reason. liGo

Agreed - it seems the industry is just trying to give what it perceives the public wants. The typical reactionary attitude. However, if we can look beyond that, the power consumption on these phones is around 40%-60% less which can only be good both for the electricity bills and the environment. We're very curious to hear what our customer think so if you have any comments on this topic, please post it here.

Great phone
Mrs. Ann Carver
This was the only cordless phone I could find that had all the features I needed for a kitchen phone that could be mounted on the wall with a loudspeaker, answerphone and in silver to match with my new all stainless steel kitchen. Great colour display with good size text and menu's easy to use if you are used to using a mobile phone, also many features and looks good. Great for using as an internal intercom too. Only thing I would change if I could would be the base station as it could be a little neater for wall mounting. Fast good delivery service.

Excellent range in large house
Anonymous
I needed a phone for home with 6 handsets, an answer-phone and a very good inside range. I have tried Phillips and BT sets and sent both back because the range was so limited but Seimens are excellent - they do what they say on the can! Ligo-Elctronics are excellent - I had one small problem which they sorted immediately. The customer service advice was better than anywhere with a man (Michael) who knew about the product and did not just read what it said on his computer. They were quick to respond.

great phones
Mack
Phones are great. Easy to use. Reassuring feel to button clicks and sound confirmations. Could be better if they could be linked to a PC to add sounds, images (it has caller ID pictures, but you have to use the built-in cartoons pics) and contacts. Originally got sent the quad pack by accident, and turned out that only had 3 in it. Ligo should have checked it before it went, but customer services were very good and no quibbling just sent out 3 new phones next day with city-link.

A great phone. Only had it a couple of weeks but all the features that we've tried so far work perfectly. Reception is crystal clear even at bottom of the garden - about 150 feet. Installation and getting it up a running was a doddle said my wife (which means it must be really simple - hope she doesn't read that bit!)

Good points
A very good set of phones with Bluetooth that are easily set up and configured when only having to briefly look in the manual to register the handsets to communicate with each other and the base unit.
Bad points It would be nice to be able to transfer all stored numbers to all other registered phones at the same time. Currently, you have to transfer them to each phone at a time, meaning waiting until one phone's transfer has finished, which can take a few minutes for each handset. Apart from that, everything you could want in the set of very-good phones. Perhaps Siemens can release an updated fix for this, as it's possible to intercom all other handsets internally at the same time, so why not the same for the transfer of the phone books? Other thoughts Overall, a sound set of phones that can store up to three numbers per contact, of which there can be 250 such contacts in all. Great! Far better than anything else currently on the market from Panasonic, Philips, BT, etc. Sammy

Can anyone tell me if this phone has caller ID please. Thanks liGo
12th Oct 2008
Hi Sammy, This phone certainly has caller ID. You can even set it to ring differently for different people calling you so you know who it is without even looking at the screen. If you have any other question, please come back to us. You may also find the following link useful: Top 10 best phones of 2008 ASR

Does this support SKYPE? The info only talks about gigaset.com but I prefer to use SKYPE as all family and friends around the world use it too. Tallow

I am very happy with this phone. It is designed well, looks good and feels good to handle. It is easy to set up and find your way around. I chose it because I wanted a very clear hands-free, which it has. A minor point, common to most phones these days, is that there is no option to have an old-fashioned telephone ring rather than tones and tunes. Kate J Ruthie

You CAN have an old-fashioned ringer melody but only on the base station

Germans have done it again!

Firstly this is nice looking phone. I must say that it looks better in real life that the images we saw online. We've only had the phones in use for a week now so perhaps a bit early for a full review. However, thus far the phones feel very good to use. Excellent sound quality, easy to use and good volume on the speakerphone. One thing which we didnt realise is that this is also a eco friendly phone and conserves on power wherever possible. A nice bonus feature.

I saw this phone and decided to try it, including the second phone. Someone said "it is actually better than it looks in the illustration" and it is. It is extremely easy to use and I liked it so much, that I bought another one for use at home. The phone is excellent and so is the service from Ligo. Thank you.

As a Gigaset 3015 user for many years I wasn't too surprised to see the quality followed through to the Siemens Gigaset S675 Twin Dect Phone. The additional features are a added bonus. The sound and reception quality is as always superb. The S675 is easy to set-up and I'll recommend it to anyone. Thanks to liGo for the prompt delivery and great service.

nice quality

easy to get going but you do need to read instructions.build quality good. loudness of ring and speaker good for people with poor hearing, types of ring tones could be more extensive with more traditonal noises, giga set implies more connectivity than it really has blue tooth would be a good option and having a colour screen it would be nice to import photos for screensaver and caller id, also not able to find a way to do last number redial but im sure it is probably user error. Over all I am happy with the phone

one each and one spare
Mrs. Janet Preece
These phones are great looking, easy to use, even an old idiot like me can get to grips with them. The range is huge especially as we live in the country, we have a phone each, and when I want to find my husband in the undergrowth, I can just use the internal mode to find him, it saves an awful lot of shouting.
