BT Diverse 6210 Quad review

The package was delivered by 10am the next day and all was present and correct.

The manual is excellent and the set-up easy.

The ability to transfer one's address book (up to 100 entries) from a Mobile SIM to the BT 6210 (and vice-versa) was a real boon. It is however possible to copy either individual entries or all entries between handsets. This reduces the burden if are going to have to enter your address book manually. I haven't tried creating address book entries directly into the 6210 yet so can't comment on how easy or otherwise it may be.

The address book look-up only works to the extent of one character (unlike my Nokia mobile) - so (for example) you have to wade through all the Bs to get to "Brian" rather than typing "Br" or "Bri" and getting straight to it (as with the Nokia).

Those potential purchasers who are interested in the SMS texting functionality should be aware that - if they are ex-directory or wish to withhold their telephone number - then they can't use SMS.

The handsets are neat and look reasonably solid. The auxiliary handset holders are very small and neat. There's a button on the base station to ring all the handsets (great when you've mislaid them).

Came with batteries installed but sealed with a plastic strip (which you just pull out).

Very happy with the product after 1 week's use. I has everything I need.

I was also delighted with Ligo's rapid delivery and the potential ability to track orders (which I didn't actually need).

Ligo delivered this phone system on time as promised. The system was very easy to set up and now I am using it I have been very pleased, the hand sets have a quality feel about them, the ring volume is very high so I never miss a call, the screen is very clear and when on hands free the volume is also very good.
I would not hesitate to use Ligo and BT phones again, I have tried other phone systems (not BT) within my small business and they are simply not as good (range, features Ect)

We replaced a fairly old but perfectly serviceable BT Synergy system, just because one handset had finally packed up. Decided to upgrade at the same time, primarily for the bigger memory for stored numbers. Certainly the 100 item memory is an instant huge bonus, but the other 'new to us' features are also surprisingly helpful - the much more communicative display making e.g. the internal transfer of calls much less hit and miss - the ringtones for specific callers, the capacity to transfer stored numbers between handsets - etc. For a short while I did wonder whether I should have bought a Panasonic quad system instead - but now I find that all the functions we want are there after all - and very easy to set up. We did prefer the look of the discreet small black Synergy handsets, but now we're used to it this is a really excellent system.

Signal is very good and it has all the features I need. The handsets feel nice and solid and the display is good and clear. It's a shame BT didn't hire Nokia to design the interface though and I keep pressing the wrong buttons because the layout is not quite right. Mine was delivered as a Trio set with an extra box thrown in. Thanks to LiGo for not holding up my order and delivering very promptly.

Phone delivered within 48 hrs - great service. The 100 name memory on the phone is really useful with a family and the ability to enter names once and copy to all other handsets is a real boon. Internal dialling to other extensions has proved to be really useful and, although you can set a personal name on each handset, it's a shame these names don't show on the internal call list - you still have to remember which extension number is in which room. Only real complaint is the poor display. All of the pictures of the phone lead you to believe it's light blue with clear black text. In practice, it's a rather dim, dark blue making it difficult to read the display at times. Aside from that, excellent phone package.

Lovely looking phone. Great features. Easy to set up. Fancy ring tones are all very well, but they don't start ringing at the same time, so music tones are a problem! Ear Piece volume is very quiet - particuarly for international calls and you need to turn the volume to maximum everytime you get a call as it keeps defaulting back to moderate.

I did a fair amount of research to find a cordless digital phone which I could use for conference calls on speakerphone at home. This set performs that requirement very well.

The handsets have a quality feel about them and the volume is very good on both the handset and speakerphone.

They are supplied with a basic in-ear headset if you need to walk around while calling although I found the earpiece a little quiet even on high volume.

The SIM card reader in the base unit saves you loads of time normally spent entering all your telephone numbers in each handset. Being able to transfer the entire phone book from one phone to another saves even more time.

The ONLY minor crticism I have is that when you transfer a number or phone book from one handset to another, you have to accept the transfer on the target phone, meaning you have to be holding both phones when you do the transfer. A very minor gripe for an excellent set.

Buy them, you won't be dissapointed!

Oh, and Ligo's delivery and customer service was also excellent!

Feature packed and easy to set up. Looks good and feels right in terms of shape and size. Order process was easy and phones came when advised. You can increase the volume of the ring tone and indeed change it but you cant increase the volume of the received call which is a little low for my liking (I am a bit deaf). Good value for money and worthy of the 5 stars.
