BT Diverse 6210 Trio SMS review

This phone has it all! Very easy and friendly interface to use. Works very similar to a mobile phone in which it displays you the miss calls when not answered. Excellent quality speaker phone in which the caller does not even realise that you are speaking handsfree. Buttons are well spaced out for easy dialing. SIM card transfer is easily done - just insert into the docking station and transfer. Overall a very nice peice of kit BT have produced. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to purchase a new digital phone with excellent call clarity.

Our experience with the BT Diverse 6210 Trio SMS fully matches its Technical Specification - what more can you ask! Good handkeys, clear display and easy to operate menu. We particularly like the ability to transfer address book entries between handsets.

This is a highly recommended phone. The build quality is excellent: solid feel, proper buttons, clear display with large font. The sound quality is also good and the user menu is intuitive. I haven't checked the maximum range yet but it seems to work everywhere in the house. One big plus is the option of using a headset with any of the three phones. Although there is only one in the box it's a standard connector and all my mobile phone headsets fit too.

Received phones in a couple of days. Very pleased with the phones i had a older version of the diverse and was looking to add a couple of phones for other rooms. It is great not having to have telephone points in the room you want to place them.

These phones have good range, especially in clear line of sight. Plan to buy the range extender for part of the house. Really like the intercom feature that enables you to transfer calls and call from one phoneset to another, as well as initiate 3 way calls. Have yet to try the SIM card transfer of phonebook

Phone set arrived within 48 hours, brilliant. Does what it says on the box. Works like a mobile phone. Intuitive key pad. Good reception. Slightly cheap plastic feel but fine. Glad I bought the 3 set because 48 hours later the dog ate one. Recommended; by me and the dog......

Very user friendly - just like using a mobile - copying numbers from simcard easy. Screen very clear - good value for money. Easy to text.

Phone works as expected, does what it says on the tin.

Only issue is that the speakerphone is too quiet, even at maximum volume. My panasonic DECT phones' speakerphone can go much louder than the BT.

But other than that, no issues.

The service from Ligo was excellent. Very fast and no problems. The product is not quite as good as the advertising blurb. Upside: excellent keypad, very useful quiet ring volume for the bedroom, strong range of features, good looker. Downside: Call quality is good, but not excellent, poor ringtones, screen lighting leaves characters fuzzy. Overall though, I'm pleased with the purchase.

BT Diverse 6210 SMS Trio digital cordless phone

We are unhappy with this telephone which we have had now for nine months. It's not a communication problem - it works as intended and the sound quality is satisfactory. But it's a nightmare to use the keyboard because the display is APPALLING. The display screen is back-lit by a deep indigo light which is presumably trendy but is impossible to read by; to see the LCD characters you have to take the phone under a strong direct light - the built-in light is useless. In addition, the tiny letters below the numeric keys are also almost illegible, being painted in white and so invisible against the light grey metal, unless the phone is held at a very particular angle to the light.
It's a pity that what might have been a user-friendly piece of equipment is marred by these small design features.

I needed a new phone and decided to opt for digital cordless phones having never had any previously. I spent ages looking around at different models, but I eventually decided to give these a go and was not disappointed. The call clarity is excellent - even on speakerphone. I especially like the texting and internal calling features. Haven't been able to find a fault with them yet!

Delivery was also reasonably quick and only took a couple of days.

I am very pleased and would highly recommend these phones to anyone!!

Quality handsets, very well put together. Like the ability to turn off the ringer by the press of a button! Nice backlit screen (blue) and displays the time if call records are deleted. Nice touch with what appears to be the handset getting its time from the phones line (ie. once plugged in). Shame there is only one

Easy to use as the instructions are claer and precise. Signal and audibility are excellent. Although I have not yet used the SIM facility, I would highly reccomend this equipment.

The BT diverse 6210 trio sms is very easy to programme (if you're also used to a mobile phone even easier). It seems very robust and well made. The different ring tones you can select make it easy for anybody to hear even those who are hard of hearing!

Appears flawless at the moment. SIM card copy works very well, set up of handset and mobiles is a no brainer, buttons are pretty self evident in their functions. Does not appear to have predictive text in the SMS function - but the 300 free SMS offer is great. Ring volume good - but display and buttons poor for visually impaired or people who sometimes use spectacles.

We are delighted with the BT Diverse trio, it has completely transformed the telephone communications in our home. The user instructions are clear, it was a 'doddle' to install and now we compete to answer the phone instead of shying away from it! Look, I mean, heck I've only had this product a week, and already Ligo want to know what I think about it. Well, it works. It does everything BT says it does (as far as I've got). The manual is easy to read and understand. The display is easy to read and understand. The logic of the menu follows my logic. The sound is clear. And above all there are not too many options. Limit me to two or three options and I can make a decision. Offer me ten options and I'll decide not to bother.
