The phones are quite nice, but a little more thought could have gone into the design. When you slide the phone open, it doesn't automatically turn on the back light, you need to press a button to activate it (lifting off the charging station also turns on the back light). I'm not sure how long the slide mechanism will last - after a few weeks it is already not as tight as it was originally. Also programming in the address book is a laborious job when you have to repeat 4 times once for each handset - there is no copy between handset function or SIM card slot. It has good sound quality and the hands free quality is not bad too, but laying the phone down covers the speaker so best to prop it against something if you're using hands free. But don’t try putting it back on the cradle while on hands free as this terminates the call. The choice of ring tones is very poor. However, all that to one side, once set up it is intuitive and easy to use - our young kids are always using the intercom function, so it has cut down the shouting between upstairs and downstairs! If you want a small cordless phone, then it's not bad for the price.

This must be the best purchase I have made in a long time. The item , iDECT M1 Quad , arrived within 2 days of ordering & the phones charged overnight.
They have worked extremely well since arrival & I would recommend them to anyone considering replacing their phone(s).

Once I had placed my order I received emails giving me information about my order and it's expected delivery date, the phones arrived on time and I am thrilled with them. They are easy to use, and look very smart. To check any call you may have missed is simple, I normally had to dial 1471, with the M1 you just press a button and all your last calls are there for you to scroll through. The slider phone is a good idea as people mainly use the phonebook feature so why have the keyboard on show? another good feature is the simple ability to transfer a caller to your phonebook.

What neat little phones. Comfortable to use but rings are a bit spooky! Apart from that they are stylish, user friendly and very easy to set up.
