Good points
Organic shape, beautifully sculptured, feels lovely in your hand.
Bad points Poor sound quality and constant background humming noise not related to signal strength. Phonebook and answer phone difficult to use daily. Other thoughts The poor sound quality overshadows the good points. Would not recommend it unless you only want to look at it.

Good points
Unusual design of handset allows it to rest on shoulder leaving hands free. Charging cradle sits neatly on desk, worktop or can be wall mounted
Bad points Printed set up instructions are confusing and actually wrong in some instances. Ring call - tone at highest setting could be louder or more penetrating. Other thoughts Vaguely retro design is not appreciated by the younger generation. This perhaps is a good point

Good points
The design of the phones are cool. The hansets buttons are easy to use and the the caller ID is ideal
Bad points Found it took a few attempts to connect the third phone into the group. Other thoughts Think these phones would appeal to most and would be great if they came in other colours

Bad points
So far no bad points
Other thoughts I purchased the triple and when opened the 3rd found no batteries, so rather than wait I purchased two so that I could set it all up. I did have a slight problem inasmuch that the product was not in stock, was informed of that and when stock would be available and then received another e mail telling me that the stock was at a later date, had to phone on that date but the operator had to progress the delivery.

Good points
Fabulous design, comfortable to hold, even for longer periods. The range is the best I've known (and I've tried a few). The phones sit very easily into their cradles (unlike so many, which seem to balance precariously on their ends). I know the white pick up dirt from sticky fingers (the children's obviously) but I'm happy to suffer that.
Bad points The bad stuff; well, it wasn't a cheap pack (despite Ligo's excellent discount) and for the money, set up and features were a little 1990's. All the design effort seems to have gone into the look and feel, not how you might use it. I had to phone (on my mobile) the MagicBox helpline a couple of times to fight my way through the set up of all 4 phones. Once done, they work fine. Entering data is a pain but it usually is on any phone. Menu structure is basic but ok. Other thoughts In the end, I'm very happy with the phones. They do their simple job very well and they look really good. |
