Superior bluetooth phones in a design that might not suit everyone
Anonymous
Good points
The sound quality for BT headphones is really good, though having said which, it is not so good as a wired connection, with slight trilling in the upper registers, otherwise really good. Hence, I slightly marked down the VFM and the sound quality, frankly, if you are after hifi, you would get a wired set.
Also to praise is the design, which goes around the neck, though the lanyard is detachable allowing use with a shirt clip. However, in the lanyard style, some people might think there are too many wires - I think it is great, for the first time I don't have the earpieces being pulled out as I turn my head. They also make a great bluetooth headset for using with a mobile - no complaints about sound quality so far. Bad points What is the problem with manufacturers? Why can't they keep to standards? They could have used a standard mini- or micro-USB connection, instead they have a proprietary one. Another plug to carry around. Other thoughts For perfect mobility in an office, with good (for bluetooth, outstanding) quality, I would recommend these phones as both earphones for music and headset for talk.

Probably one of the best iphone headset in terms of design.
For both music and call functioning this is definitely the best No ridiculouslyy large ear piece Sound quality very good Packaging if you're really care about it exceptionally good. Bad points Bluetooth dongle could have been a bit slimmer Does not supported bluetooth 2.1 devices

Firstly let me say LiGo service was excellent, kept me up to date when product out of stock and dispatched a.s.a.p.
Love this product, would never use iPhone proprietary headphones uncomfortable and untrendy Easy to set up with 3GS which handles them excellently, dimming iPod sound on Text/Mail or Phone and then starting again after call iPhone 3GS allows forward, back, volume and last call Volume is powerful and clear, note iPhone volume NOT used Better sound quality than my previous Sennheisers Works at least 20m from phone Bad points Silly little USB connection, however the cable plugs into std USB on PC or Socket so can use my iPhone socket My kids like them - so might loose them on weekends

After trying various headsets I finally found one which provided the sound quality I was looking for. It's easy to use, has 3 different size ear pieces for perfect audio and comfort.
Bad points I love this headset but in terms of how it could improve it could perhaps have some sort of display on it so you could see the track name or person calling, etc. It's also fairly large which makes it just look and feel like carrying an MP3 player. Other thoughts Overall a fantasic item, if you are looking for a headset with superb audio quality then this is highly recommended.

Battery life is excellent
Bad points music is automatically muted when you make or receive a call - which is great but when the call ends it unmutes the music but doesn't play it through the headphones - instead your phone becomes a very embarrassing loud thing that you can't get out of your pocket fast enough! bingwit1

The bad point is very good to know and would put me off buying. Also, how silly of Sennheiser not to have fixed that.

Very easy to pair to your devices - good sound quality for wireless headphones. Light and portable.
Bad points Sometimes picking up telephone calls via dongle was unsuccesful. Other thoughts A great headset - The lanyard is a great feature and you hardly realise you're wearing it.

Connects successfully with iPhone 3Gs, Mac OSX 10.5 and Windows 7s built-in bluetooth audio support. Remote feature works fully with Windows Media Player.
Bad points Allows Play/Pause and Volume control over iPhone, but Prev/Next functions do not work. (This is likely a limitation of the current iPhone bluetooth implementation) Other thoughts Had hoped to use these in conjunction with my iPhone and Nike+ RemoteWatch to go completely wireless while running. However the iPhones bluetooth remote control overrides the Nike+ remote control so I have to choose to use one or other device at a time. Riggas

foward/back issue definitely down to Apple - I have seen this problem listed for every bluetooth set I have looked at. Rumoured to be included in the next iOS update (4.1). Finally.

Easy set-up, reliable bluetooth connection and it's hiss-free, good ear-bud speakers. Excellent sound and good battery life.
Bad points Control toggle is small for big fingerred people ! and takes a little getting used to. Other thoughts You pay for what you get - I have tried less exepensive sets but the sound is poorer and there is background hiss. Only thing comparable is Sony DR-BT20NX which has better toggle in my view. |
