Worth the money

I'm extremely happy with the Plantronics CS60 USB Wireless Headset. I wear it all day long hooked over my ear and, unlike all the previous headsets I've used, it's very comfortable and you don't really notice you have it on. I also love the other ear pieces they provide so if you don't like it hooked over your ear you can use one that goes over your head from ear to ear. Also providing 5 different sizes of ear hook shows they understand comfort is important and not everyone has the same size or shape of ear. With a simple click you can switch from one headset type to another, brilliant! I live in a large house and stroll around without any loss of noise quality. I now even listen to online radio via the headset too! It's expensive compared to others but I don't regret the extra cost at all.

Voice recognition excellence

I am very pleased with this purchase, I'm using it solely for voice recognition (Dragon NaturallySpeaking) with excellent results. Lightweight, comfortable, easy to use and above all amazingly accurate in recognition.

It's not a cheap part, but the freedom to roam has its price does it not? Reach and stability of connection and sound quality is excellent, and comfort over 2..3 hours is very good. The only hiccup I found was that the unit wants to be connected directly to the PC, using a dedicated USB 2 port. Connecting through USB2 hubs requires sharing of the USB bandwidth which, in my case, lead to choppy transmission. Once on the dedicated port, all is well.

This is a great product. Very easy to set up although there were a few minor niggles which were sorted out. Very convenient to use - no more holding your phone against your neck, no more cordless hiss or interference and with Skype, very cheap or free calls. It's a great buy and well worth the money. If I didn't need a landline, I would transfer to using this full time. Buy it NOW!!!!

Did exactly what I wanted which was roam anywhere in the house and garden while talking away on Skype. Good sound quality and easy setup, occasionally odd bleeps but generally works flawlessly with great battery life i.e. 4 hour conversations no problem. Nice comfy headset solutions too.

Recommend this product to anyone wanting to hook it up to a PC. And if you use a free voip provider you will save the cost of the headset from your quarterly BT bills. Highly recommended.

I am using the headset for Skype and it works perfectly. The sound is clear and the desk top stand and holder are stylish and practical. Altogether it is a really good product.

I've had this since Jan 2005 when the prices were around the £200. Ever since then, I've been using Skype even more and more. As a year has already passed, I've been surveying other alternatives to this product, but by the looks of it, it still stands as the number 1. I myself use this on the laptop and I've velcored the base station behind the laptop screen. Wifi + CS 60USB = Total Freedom. Highly recommended for heavy skype users. (6-24hrs a day)

I only had the plantronics for a few days that i am already ocerwelhmed by it's functionality and great look. This is a real useful product for the decerning PC user. Plantronics computer headset products provide superior comfort, durability and audiophile-approved sound. The PC headset is perfect for online chat, Internet telephony, speech recognition, video conferencing, music and multimedia games. I just love mine and I have recommended it to all my friends.

I have only been using this headset for less than a day and I can already say how fantastic it works. Skype users should seriously consider this headset. It also works fantastically on Dragon NaturallySpeaking. If I was to use one word to sum up this headset, it would be "brilliant"

...and a breeze to install. Coming with a multitude of headset pieces to provide comfort this has definitely been money well spent. The battery life and speed of charging is far better than I expected as usually the documents over exagerate. A must have for any VoIP user!

After the price drop I decided to give it at go.... Perfect, no more echo's on Skype (both the receiver and me), no setup - I'm a mac user - just select the device and it works!

I use Skype and Messenger a lot to talk to friends all over the world. This headset is great as I now am not chained to my desk when talking and can wander around. Easy to set up and get started and easy to use. All in all a great product that works just as you'd expect it to.

Works absolutely perfectly. Reliable and crystal clear. Other skype users even ask me to turn the microphone volume down. Range is exceptional. Highly worth the money spent.

I bought the CS60 USB wireless headset for use with my Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition software, and am glad to report that they are excellent in use. Voice recognition software can be very sensitive to the microphone kind and quality, but within a few minutes the CS60 was working beautifully and I no longer had wires all around me. I originally ordered the phone version of the CS60 and had to send it back to get the USB version - I don't think it is made clear enough that there are two versions of the CS60 and its important to choose the right one.
