SENNHEISER PC 145 USB BINAURAL, NOISE-CANCELING BEHIND THE NECK PC HEADSET REVIEW

I was looking for a headset, and since I have a laptop without a Mic input I needed to get a USB one. There are definitely cheaper USB headsets out there, but there aren't [m]any with sound quality this good. I would take this on the plane to listen for entertainment and then have the headset ready to make calls when I arrive overseas.
I have two 'issues': 1) The USB dongle is unecessarily long. I guess it's designed for desktops, but there\'s no way to end with less than three or four feet of loose cabling. 2) The over-ear headset *does* start to irritate the ears after extended use. If you plan to wear the headset for long periods (e.g. gaming) then I'd go with traditional headphones. Great quality and on my Mac this was *completely* plug-and-play. Also, the USB dongle can be removed if you have a machine with a mic input and headphones output (this would make for a more streamlined setup). Regards Jon Comfortable and light weight with good sound quality on both headphones and the mike. I have nothing to compare to but I am very happy with them connected both by USB and audio sockets. The USB connection makes them very easy to move around between systems. The only downside is they are bulky to carry between the office and home and there is no case so the cables keep getting entangled in transit.
