Plantronics headset
Sambit
A very decent kit if you are not looking for a wireless solution. I bought this along with Panasonic cordess fax phone. The headset plugs into the the cordless handset, so I can carry the handset around with me and it almost works like a wireless. Anyway I have a problem with wireless headsets as you have to charge them, the voice drops out etc. This works just fine for me. The clarity is good and the headset fits pretty snugly on the ears.

Good points
1. Optional earpiece or headband wearing method
2. Convenient inline volume and mute control Bad points 1. I prefer to use the around ear/earpiece mounting method, but this can be a bit tricky as I also wear spectacles and this can make the chosen ear a bit 'crowded', with the arm of my glasses competing for space with the earpiece. However, I have got used to this 2. It would have helped if there was a button to take/end calls on the inline control, rather than having to use the buttons on the 'phone Other thoughts It can be a bit of a nuisance at times having a cable trailing between the phone and the headset, but the advantage of this over an alternative bluetooth enabled 'phone and headset, is that the earpiece does not need its own separate power supply.

Great product for the home user for phones with a headset jack. The sound control id good, and with the mute button, it is great for those people who want to do other things whilst listening to someone speak...they can't hear you typing, drinking tea etc! Would recommend this product to everyone looking for a headset, I have tried many others and this one is the best so far.

M175 CONVERTIBLE HEADSET
Anonymous
Comfortable headset with more options that you may ever need - headset, earpiece, mute control etc etc. Purchased this to work with Panasonic KX-FC245 as this new fax has a cordless phone with it with a headset jack.

High Quality With A Few Niggles.
Mr. Alan Hopking
I am using this headset with my cordless fax-phone in my mail-order business (www.godshaer.co.uk). I found the ear-loop did not suit me as it did not hold fast enough. So I use the headband instead. I have had feedback from regular customers regarding the clarity of my voice and most have said the quality is excellent although one person said it was a little fuzzy. The adjustable microphone is useful cos when not in use I put the headband around my neck and push the microphone down otherwise it would be up and in the way. The wire to the cordless in my pocket or on my belt gets in the way at times and the one clip to keep it out the way is not enough. There is a mute switch which is useful. Also the volume control is ok. But it has not got a manual answer button to answer the phone which at the time I did not think mattered but now I would select in buying such an headset as it means awkwardly finding the little green button on the cordless to answer the phone. But I am used to it now and it works for me.

Plantronics M175 Headset
Margaret Bishop
Bought this to use at home with my Panasonic KXTCD 517 SMS telephone. It works very well - callers can hear me (and I do not have a strong voice) and I can hear them clearly. It is comfortable and easy to use during telephone conversations when I am also busy cooking, etc. !

Great headset - shame about the instructions
Anonymous
Bought this headset to use with the new Panasonic KX-TG8220 (actually I bought an M170, but LiGo "upgraded" me when the M170 was discontinued after I placed my order - great job!!) Anyway, back to the headset It does all that I need of it - it's great for someone with an occasional need for a headset (hour long meetings, web based presentations etc). The lack of an answer button on the headset might have annoyed me if I was going to wear it permanantly, but as I don't I don't miss it The sound quality is great and the people I call have no problem hearing me either The only fly in the ointment was the lousy cartoon instructions on how to assemble the various options - in the end I just guessed With better instructions, I'd have given it a 5-star rating

Good points
Been looking for something like this for a while, as it makes business over the phone a lot easier and frees up hands. No more shoulderclamping which inevitably causes RSI.
Quite light and comfortable on the head. Bad points Maybe this is a standard price in the UK, but I've seen similar headsets in the past for less in the USA. The wireless version is even more expensive, but this was good enough for me, just means carrying around the phone. But I liked the helicopter pilot feel of it. Other thoughts Overall worth it, if you're on the phone frequently while doing other things esp on the PC.

VERY COMFORTABLE.
Good sound quality and good fitting. Love the inline volume control and mute button. Bad points The voice tube is too short and does not quite reach the best postion (ie near your mouth) for use. Also the voice tube is not flexible, and so can get in the way when not in use. But otherwise a great headset with great sound quality and comfort. A bit pricey for "just a headset". Other thoughts Purchased headset to use with liGo purchased Seimens Gigaset S685 DECT phone - perfect combination !!! Great customer service and delivery from liGo. Will definetly buy from LiGo again. Thanks.

Clear sound. Comfortable to wear (ear fitting)for short periods. Fairly easy to setup but instructions could be clearer.
Bad points Over the head band is uncomfortable and I was unable to fit the ear pad. Needs a better volume control to increase the volume. Other thoughts I thought the connecting wire was far to long and gets in the way.

Wow - fantastic on conference calls to be able to participate hands free - easy to use, easy to adjust and fit.
Bad points The 'head clip' could perhaps be made of softer material? Other thoughts LiGo are just so helpful and easy to deal with - they will always have my telephonics business in future ...., shame that most of the products will last for ever!
