Plantronics CS60 Wireless Headset with

Although not a receptionist or more to the point switchboard operator, my role involves lengthy telephone conversations. At times requiring the necessity to scroll around the screens of my desk top PC, or find paperwork on my desk or in the filing cabinet.

When the situation requires me to do other tasks then by keeping my lead hand free to perform these tasks I hold the handset in my weaker hand. Sometimes trapping the handset under the chin but this can be annoying especially when the microphone has been smothered.

To further compound the problems with holding the handset in my left hand is that I suffer from tennis elbow and after 10 minutes the pain is unacceptable causing at times, the handset to be dropped.

To combat all of these shortcomings I elected for a Plantronics cable solution more than one year ago. This proved fantastic but as technology moved forward with the increasing employment of wireless technology I decided to upgrade myself and what a smart move.

Fantastic, as now I have a small lightweight earpiece as apposed to the heavier headset. I can move freely around my office indeed into the adjacent annex and am still able to answer the telephone remotely thanks to the clever handset lifter.

The freedom offered by the CS60 Wireless Headset and the accompanying HL10 Handset Lifter means I can always stay in touch. I never miss a call 'knowingly' as now, if I can hear my phone I can answer it, thus defeating the limitations of the telephone receiver with only a few rings before cutting off. I can move more freely around without a fixed cable restriction and the pain in my left elbow, well, that has almost ceased with this new minimised daily aggravation.

Well done Plantronics, an excellent product with great reception, in service clarity and ease of use.

I purchased one of these for a member of staff who claimed they were very good. When it arrived I tried it out myself. I was surprised just how well it worked. You know what they say, works for 10 metres and it actually works for about 2! This is different. This worked really well round the office, no drop outs, remote call advice and remote answering all worked very well. Gave it up to my Staff member and bought one for myself. Its just totally outranks a cable job which I was pleased with until I got this. This is going from candles to electric light. Great product for what I want which is ease of use, hands free for keyboard, lots of mobility, good volume (half deaf!! need the HiFi up load lol).

Great service from Ligo, simple, uncomplicated, straightforward, very good price. Got it when I wanted it. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with this headset. It has a choice of ways to wear over the ear and over the head. Easy to set up with clear insturctions. I would definitely recommend this headset to others.

Does what is says on the tin! Worked straight out of box. Good clarity, good adjustment controls. Difficult to find a comfortable earloop out of the selection. Headset is the most comfortable. would recommend. Excellent service from Ligo.

This piece of equipment is really useful. You have complete freedom of movement with it and can answer your phone a long way from your desk. You cannot transfer call's from it but at least you don't miss that important call anymore.

Making call after (cold) call for my Telesales business, is very demanding, but with the Plantronics headset, it makes my coldcalling more effective, productive. The headset is very comfortable to wear and doesn't press on the ear. Calls made are very easy with the lifter, and quick to connect. Highly recommended.

An excelent product that asists with telecom conferencing, the additional handset lifter is a must however will not fit all modern phones with a curved profile.

I have found this to be a reliable addition that has improved communication functionality

This is my second purchase of the Plantronics CS60 with lifter. Although the lifter is problematical to instal, when its done, combined with the wireless headset, it increases productivity and gives total freedom in a busy office environment.

This headset is just brilliant the range and clarity is exclellent. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The only drawback is the lifter as often it fails to replace the handet correctly on the telephone so if you are away from your desk, when on or answering a call you may not be able to terminate the call unless you physically replace the handset on the phone rather then pressingthe switiech on the wirelsss headset.

I have been suffering for years with a stiff neck and joints because my phone rings constantly and I have been pinned to the desk from 8.45 to 5.15 without a break only to go to the loo and called back as I take 2 steps. Now I can roam around, go up and down stairs and all round the warehouse checking stocketc., and never miss a call. Muy boss thinks it's great because I can do more than 50 things at once - making me even better value for money.

I purchased this item for use in our Technical Support Department.
Although the user documentation is a little vague, with the techies banished, the headset and lifter were installed and configured in just a few minutes!

On the plus side this headset is nice and light, easily configured/reconfigured to suit different wearing styles and very portable.
The range is quite superb, especially as we are in a metal-clad building.
Customer service is better as there is no time on hold whilst we run round the office.

On the down side, we found that the standard over-the-head style slips off when you lean forward (change to other type to solve this!), the techies spend far too much time on the phone and the coffee consumption is up 3 fold! (As they can make coffee whilst talking to customers)

Mostly the lifter works immediately, but sometimes it can take a good 10 seconds to lift the handset?

Certainly a good buy. 4 stars.

Being a bit of a techniphobe i opened up the box and kind of gasped in horror as i found the instruction manual not very easy to understand or follow as it doesn't give instructions step by step! However, once i had figured out how to put it all together it was great! Its making my life at work so much easier as i can answer the phone away from my desk while doing other things. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wireless headset.

This product is one of the best I have ever seen, its universal, and compatible with most handsets, I currently work within a call centre and its been very usefull at work. The only down side to it is the handset leaver isn't that brill, they can be very temprimental if you need to change the phone its on.

I have Parkinson's Disease and I find it dificult to hold a phone to my ear and now it is great I can even answer the phone in another room or in the garden the best thing since sliced bread.

I was intending on ordering a wired headset and amplifier. But thought I'd look into the wireless option purely because we tend to get the wired type developing faults with the cables. I was amazed to see that it's about £30 cheaper for the wireless option and took a chance and purchased the Plantronics CS60 (thinking it can’t be as good because of the price).
I have to say that I will no longer be purchasing the wired type any more.
Our receptionist uses this one the sound quality and levels are flawless.
It has the option of using the ear clip; with 3 different size clips to choose from. Or 2 slightly different over the head types.
You will not be disappointed.

The Plantronics CS60 headset seems to be fine and the two members of staff with them are pleased to be wireless at last. However I am yet to fully understand how the HL10 handset lifter works and am not sure now why I ordered them. In future I shall probably just order the headsets as the people here are normally at their desks anyway.

Range on headset is brilliant! Sound quality excellent and very comfortable to wear! Lifter works perfectly with our phone system and i had the whole thing up and running in about 10 minutes.

Here at Vaspa Double Glazing our phones are for ever on the go, the CS60 has made a great diffrence in the way that we are more productive with work as now we are both hands on in our office. There is a slight disturbunce in the line maybe that might have something to do with mounting!!

Great bit of kit, does exactly what is says.
The lifter looks a bit old fashioned and clunky but it really does work very well. It has loads of adjustment and the headset has lots of spares and two different arms.

I really rate these, we have 10 in our business of them.

I found the unit simple, easy to use and very user-friendly. The range for the unit given is very conservative as I have been able to use the unit along the length of our open-plan office which is more than the stated distance.

The wireless headset and lifter has proved very useful. I no longer get a pain in my neck whilst trying to use the computer and ballance the phone on my shoulder. Having the lifter also helps to answer calls promptly without the need to dash across the office when the phone rings. 10 out of 10.

Really impressed with this Plantronics headset, it copes well with everything we've thrown at it so far when connected to our Avaya VOIP phone system. The battery life easliy copes with a 9+ hour working day and the range is good in open areas. (It drops dramatically when used through walls so is probably not suitable for a conventional office layouts, hence only 4 stars!) The hand set lifter looks a bit 'heath robinson' but also does the job well. Great service from Ligo, prompt delivery and good advice.

Working for a finance house in the City we now have over 40 of these wireless headsets in use over 3 floors where they have now become an essential piece of equipment in helping the executives and PA's effectively manage their phone calls.

We recently purchased 7 wireless headsets for our reservations department as our old ones had either broken or been lost. There is a massive difference in sound quality and build quality. They streamline our work by allowing us to get up and walk around whilst on calls.

An excellent headset, easy to use, excellent sound quality and great range of reception. It comes with various adapters which allows user to choose the most comfortable option. The lifter is well worth having, as it means that it can work with any telephones, saving upgrade costs. All in all, an excellent product.

We recently purchased a Plantronics CS60 and Handset lifter HL10 to try it's capabilities . Our receptionists were so impressed by it's ease of use and set up that we imediately ordered a second unit.

Our receptionists are extremely happy with this. One of our receptionists requires hearing aids and using the over-the-head fitting allows her to receive calls much more easily.

The only downside we have found are the simple ear clips which feel very fragile and don't instill confidence in wwearing them

For a guy like me this has made all the difference. Moving from a wired headset to this means I am free to do my walk talk. Arguably when I am at my best. The clarity of the headset is second to none and it was very easy to set up. i just plugged it in and it worked. A very cool handset lifter also comes with, and still makes me smile thinking about how lazy i have become. My only problem with this product is that now i have one all my staff want to have them as well! Highly recommended.

Rather than a wireless networking technology such as Bluetooth, the CS60 uses the DECT system and gives it a much better range This product is brilliant. It is difficult to speak on the phone and write, type etc. I can now do all those things comfortably and can even walk away from my desk and still talk. Even better with the Lifter as well. I can now answer my phone whilst I am away from my desk resulting in me never missing a call or having to ring anybody back and as it uses the DECT system which is much better than eg. bluetooth the range is superb.
